We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and had a great experience. It was clean, staff were very, very friendly and helpful and the breakfast offered a good variety. I stayed with my mother and my adult daughter and there was a big bed for 2 and a smaller private area for my daughter with a closet and a clothes storage rack which was enough for all of us. Breakfast was the same every morning but had enough variety. Eggs, sausage, yogurt, fruit, lots of breads and pastry’s and juice, tea and coffee. There is construction next door that didn’t bother us as we were gone all day when they worked. Overall it was a great hotel that was clean and easy access to metro, local restaurants (hotel staff made some excellent recommendations!) and I would definitely stay there again!

“3 day stay at Hôtel Régina Opéra”

The rooms were a little small but still very well maintained and very clean.I would recommend it to anyone who chooses your hotel.The location was really good, close to public transport. The staff are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice.

We booked this hotel due to my daughter's recommendation. I was a bit disappointed with the overall experience. It doesn’t seem like a 4 star hotel at all. It seems more like a boutique hotel. It did not have a gym. The check in was very helpful and let us into the room earlier than 3 pm as we arrived early. The room we had booked was a triple so lots of space but the passages are narrow to navigate. The air conditioning was over the middle passage so the main room remained stuffy. The shower was fantastic but all the faucets really difficult to manipulate as they were very tight. The lotion in the bathroom seemed old and to have a rancid smell. We had a problem with the wifi connection throughout our stay. There are no instructions in the room on how to connect with the reception so I emailed the hotel through the app and got a very strange response. On top of that when we checked out, the gentleman at the reception tried to convince me that it was not the hotel who responded but booking app. I showed him that this was the hotel messaging me and not booking app. The positives were the staff who are very helpful. The hotel is near the metro and has lots of small cafes and restaurants on Boulevard Hausseman. Room was clean and had all the amenities for tea and coffee. I found it a little too far from the main tourist or shopping areas that we wanted to go to. We like to walk everywhere and it took 45 minutes to an hour to reach ile de la cité. However les Halles and the theatre district is very close by. Also Galerie Lafayettes and Printemps. The price is reasonable but I wouldn’t recommend it based mainly on my wifi and air conditioning experience.
