I have written several reviews on the Hotel du Quai Voltaire. This was my fifth return and last one before it closed for renovations. As it is now being modernized, I was assured by the hotel it would be just as charming in its new transition. The staff were professional and helpful. They made you feel welcome. The view from the room overlooking the Seine and Louvre is breathtaking. A very historical setting, it’s guests included many famous names of the past. Rooms were very French and exhibited the “old world” appeal. Until the unveiling of the hotel’s step into the new world, it will be interesting to experience my first step into the modernized Hotel du Quai Voltaire.

“Great last minute accommodation”
After hotel Saint Germaine Bac gave away my hotel reservations due to there incompetence and lack of moral compass, The manager at Hotel Quai Du Voltaire took me in and found me a room for my daughter and I for our 2 days in Paris with just a 20 minute notice. After hotel Saint Germaine Bac gave away my hotel reservations due to there incompetence and lack of moral compass, The manager at Hotel Quai Du Voltaire took me in and found me a room for my daughter and I for our 2 days in Paris with just a 20 minute notice. The manager was so understanding and such a sweet man that I will never forget him.It saved our 2 days . The hotel was nice and old world on the Seine and near the Musee D’Orsay.

Great value and even better location right opposite the Louvre. Beautiful view of the Seine. Lots of lovely little cafes and restaurants just around the corner and informative and helpful staff. Great value and even better location right opposite the Louvre. Beautiful view of the Seine. Lots of lovely little cafes and restaurants just around the corner and informative and helpful staff. Not far from Gare Lyon if arriving by train. Hop on Hop off Bus and boat just down the road and the Orsay Museum and Metro also just down the road.

“Good Value / Would Stay There Again!”
Charming hotel, with a great location. Our room had a great view, overlooking the Seine River and the Louvre Museum. The central location was the best feature, as we were able to walk everywhere. Charming hotel, with a great location. Our room had a great view, overlooking the Seine River and the Louvre Museum. The central location was the best feature, as we were able to walk everywhere. Close to metro, Hop-On-Hop-Off bus stops, attractions, cafes, etc. The room was clean and cozy, and provided everything we needed (bed, closet, safe, writing desk, bath with tub/shower). Fortunately we were there in September and didn’t require air conditioning. We slept with the window open and had the fan in the room on. While there was considerable street noise from traffic, we found it to be “white noise” and slept well. The hotel offers breakfast, but we wanted to sit outside and take in the views, so we did not eat there. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. This hotel met all of our needs and we would definitely stay there again.

“Old and no parking”
Great location, walk to a lot of attractions. But there is no parking available if you rent a car. Old building and did not see any air-con. be there for winter and not the hot summer. Room is reasonable maintained.
