This hotel is a mixed bag. Recently renovated, the communal areas & gym area are nice and the hotel is clean. Location is great. However, we stayed in a standard double and it was very small, beds small, bathrooms small. The bed was also not Very comfortable.The hotel claims a four star rating, which is a stretch given the small rooms. This hotel is fine if you are travelling alone, but a 4 star luxury couples experience it is not.

Reminded me of Fawlty Towers when we arrived but improved with change of receptionist the following day. Original bedroom very small with shower over high bathtub. Receptionist insisted we had booked twin beds, even when travel agent checked the booking confirmation at her end. Tradies working in entry foyer with cords, equipment etc across the floor. When I asked if we could have an electric kettle in the room and was bluntly told "Non". I clarified, again asking for a jug to boil water for a cup of tea and again it was a loud, abrupt "Non". When I queried further I was told to come to Reception, from the 2nd floor, if I wanted to make a cup of tea. On the second day we were moved into the accessible room which was much larger, with an easy access shower. Only one pillow per person.

Although a hotel close to all shopping precincts and Metro stations, I wouldn't stay here again. The room is like a box, with no chair but a stool and a tiny desk. Although a hotel close to all shopping precincts and Metro stations, I wouldn't stay here again. The room is like a box, with no chair but a stool and a tiny desk. The bed is extremely high and not all that comfortable. I am a 64 year old, 5ft 8 ins tall female who had to climb up, so good luck if you are short! The buffet breakfast is good with plenty of food available and the dining area is quite nice. They were doing works on the same floor when I stayed and all the works seem to envelope my room, so around 8.30am there was a lot of noise and because the walls are paper thin, you could hear everything, even those coming back at night around 9.00pm. What is it with people who like to talk loud and thump their way around during the night?! No respect. Also the wifi was not working for whatever reason - so frustrating and not good if you are travelling for business or leisure. However, the staff are pleasant and spoke English.

We stayed here for a night and our experience was good. Not exceptional, but yeah it was good. Location of the hotel is good. Main train station Gare du Nord and subway/metro station is nearby which makes it a good choice for the people who are here in Paris on a holiday and like to visit different tourist attractions using the Public transport. This hotel is tiny. The elevator isn’t big enough for you and your big suitacase. The standard room we got was tiny and doesn’t have any amenities like an electric kettle and so on. But our room was super clean and we were kinda okay with the small room size because we were there for an overnight stay. The gentleman who checked us in was super friendly and professional. He did all the formalities quickly and gave us the room key. He also instructed how I can get the warm water from the coffee machine. The only slightly bad experience we had when we were checking-out and asked the guy at the reception to book a taxi for us. We were getting late for our flight so we made a mistake of booking two taxis - one by using the Uber app and another with the help of receptionist. Our Uber came earlier so we decided to go with the Uber because we were getting late. When the receptionist saw this he came running towards us in a slight aggressive way and asked us to pay Euro 15 as the cancellation charges as he had already booked the taxi for us. Well, he wasn’t wrong, but the way he did we didn’t like it and also thought Euro 15 is a lot as the cancellation charges. I hope he didn’t overcharge us.
