“Excellent”
Hotel is ideal location a 5 minute walk from the station and the bus is opposite the hotel for the nearby tourist square €5 return. I had a comfortable stay at the hotel and it was clean the staff at reception was very helpful and you have alot of nearby hospitality bars and cafés, bakers etc. I wo… more

I had a comfortable stay at the hotel and it was clean the staff at reception was very helpful and you have alot of nearby hospitality bars and cafés, bakers etc. I would definitely stay again but not more than 2 nights.

“Clean and friendly hotel.”
Very friendly staff. Comfortable beds towels changed daily and lovely hot water. Breakfast for €9 is well worth it- coffee, tea, orange juice, croissants, rolls, ham, cheese, yogurt and fruit. It is very convenient for Gare Du Nord and transport links. Will stay again.

Quick visit in Paris for some days and just got off the train from Charles de Gaulle, ended up in Gare de Nord, searched for a simple hotel close by and Metropol came up. Cheep, yes, when you travel alone and don’t have high requirements! 6-8min. You have about everything you need close by, because nothing includes in the room. Yes, towels, no more… but close and ok.

“Great location, clean room - you get what you pay for”
I spent one night there recently for the rugby world cup final. Good - great location very near Gar de Nor, so easy access pretty much everywhere, helpful staff always present, room, bed and bathroom clean, very reasonable rates. I spent one night there recently for the rugby world cup final. Good - great location very near Gar de Nor, so easy access pretty much everywhere, helpful staff always present, room, bed and bathroom clean, very reasonable rates. Not so good - passage carpets really dirty, very basic facilities in the room, but that's about it. Small room, but standard for Paris. Overall, nice hotel and very good value, but I wouldn't want to stay there for more than 2 nights.
