“Clean environment”
Good customer service The receptionist were very welcoming and helpful. They could speak English which was a relief since some places we went, they were not able to speak English. The rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. The only problem was the shower pressure was low.

A very clean and functional hotel with amazing welcoming reception staff who all spoke English well. A very clean and functional hotel with amazing welcoming reception staff who all spoke English well. The room was great, clean and included TV, loads of plugs, coffee etc. The breakfast is pretty decent too and good value for the price. There's complimentary coffee and cake in the reception which is most welcome. It's not readily walking distance to the main attractions but is so close to so many transport options so that's not a problem. There are loads of bars and restaurants nearby so it really is in a great spot. We did have a small issue while at the hotel but the staff sorted it out quickly and efficiently so it didn't spoil our stay. There's a secure left luggage facility which allowed us to enjoy our last day without lugging our bags around. Overall, a great place to base yourself in Paris which we would highly recommend - thank you to Vincent and the team!

We had a warm and professional welcome by Bonnie (?). All Staff are so helpful and friendly, giving recommendations for local restaurants & transport links. We loved the area - really good for access to buses and metro and we especially loved the ‘local’ feel of the area - a drink by the Saint Martin canal or a lovely authentic bistro meal which were excellent value for central Paris. Our room was serviced daily to a high standard and water and drinks were freely available. It’s unusual to find a kettle & drinks in the room with a mini fridge and that was much appreciated. Our room had a balcony onto the Boulevard Magenta which is busy but with closed windows that wasn’t a problem.

“Very cozy room”
The room was small but incredibly cozy and clean. Staff was great. Breakfast in the basement was the only let down but I would still gladly recommend Magenta 38. The location near Place de La Republique while some distance from Louvre etc. is well connected to the transport network.
