This is an excellent mid range hotel with a great location on the banks of the Seine across from Notre Dame and so convenient for the left bank and to walk across to Marais or Palais Royal area .The front desk personnel are really welcoming and helpful .the rooms are not large but perfectly satisfactory ,well equipped and clean and beds are wide .We were not troubled by noise either within the hotel or from the road alongside . Price was very reasonable .Can thoroughly recommend

We came here for two nights for my 40th birthday and had the best time. Location is excellent. We got a taxi from the airport which was approx an hour but we got the train back as the station is right outside the hotel. Yes it’s a bit noisy but what do you expect in the thick of a city (just pack some ear plugs) the staff here are incredible. They are so kind and helpful. They recommended three French restaurants that were all delicious! Les Antiquaires, Le Wepler and Le Mabillion (defo try them) We also went to a cool cocktail bar called Castor Club. Lots of bars and restaurants close by too. The staff made me breakfast for my birthday and it was lovely. Highly recommend this hotel for the excellent customer service.

“Well positioned boutique hotel”
An excellent hotel. Ideally positioned for much of Paris. Beautiful views over the Seine and newly restored Notre Dame cathedral. Friendly staff, well equipped and comfortable room, excellent breakfast. What more could one want from a Paris hotel.

“Gem of a Hotel”

This is a gem of a hotel. My husband and I stayed for our 35th anniversary. Upon arrival, Dino escorted us to our room, gave a brief history of the hotel, and showed us how everything worked. He also gave us a list of ten walkable restaurants he recommended. The room was spacious, comfortable and exceptionally clean. It also had a complementary mini fridge with snacks which were replenished as needed. We had two large windows that opened with a beautiful view of the Seine and Notre Dame. The hotel is in a great location, and it was very easy to get around. Thank you Dino and Sylvia for making our stay so memorable, we will be back!

This was a great stay, only 2 nights but charming and great location - very helpful front desk staff. We splurged on the top floor suite and it did not disappoint for spaciousness, being light and airy, large bathroom and beautiful views. It was wonderful to look out of the windows to see the Seine below and the Notre Dame to our right. The room also had mirrored panels either side of the windows so that added an extra dimension to the view. We loved our little retreat from the busy streets below. A fast paced 20 minute walk to the Louvre gave us some beautiful photo ops across the many bridges both during the day and at night. We especially loved wandering the streets behind the hotel with their lively cafes and bistros. The Shakespeare Book Co. is a 5 minute walk opposite the Notre Dame with a delicious outdoor/indoor cafe next door - La Bucherie - perfect for a quick croissant and coffee. We plan on coming back soon.
