This hotel takes customer service to the next level and provided me with the best hotel experience I've ever had, bar none. I'm 74, female, traveled solo, and this was my first trip to Paris. I relied on my rusty high school French, which I brushed up on by using my old high school text book. Everywhere I went in Paris, people clearly appreciated it when I spoke a bit of French. It opened doors and made for a great deal of good will and friendly treatment. The French are NICE if you make an effort! The staff at the hotel all speak English, and they're happy to do so when needed. The manager of the front desk staff is so helpful, capable, warm and knowledgeable. All the staff were that way - and it didn't seem anything less than genuine. No phony smiles, nothing fake. These folks genuinely seem to enjoy providing a first-class, warm, welcoming and truly helpful guest experience. They were able to arrange for me a private taxi to and from Charles De Gaulle Airport (yeah, it's big, but I flew direct on the natioal carrier, Air France, so I found it no more daunting than your typical big airport, such as London Heathrow or JFK). I did lot of walking tours, so I got a bit tired...and the hotel arranged two in-room massages with an expert, wonderful female masseuse. They even provided the table! It was heavenly. An example of their helpful attitude. Coming back from a trip to Musee D'Orsay via metro, I came across two Americans who looked worried and confused, right across the street from Hotel le Walt. They were speaking English and clearly needed help. I spoke to them, and they were lost. I knew my hotel staff would help them out, so I took them to the front desk. Sure enough, the front desk manager pointed them in the right direction and put them at ease. He didn't have to do that - these people weren't staying there. But he did, with the same kindness and clearity he and his staff always showed to me. When I return to Paris (and I will, I will!), I will stay here, no question. My room was large and spotlessly clean, there was a mini-fridge and coffee maker, there was a mirror in the bedroom so I could blow-dry my hair while looking in the mirror (if you've never been to Europe before, please know that there are no electrical outless in the bathrooms due to their higher voltage vs. America, which has 110-120 vs. the Europen 220-240). The decor was lovely and soothing. Rue Cler is right around the corner, and there are shops right on the same street as well as a small Lidle/Franprix general grocery store are close by, as well as restaurants and other shops. You're close to so much here, and it doesn't seem touristy. It's a safe, clean, lovely neighborhood. I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you're on your own, speak mostly English, and feel a little overwhelmed at the prospect of a big, vibrant, confusing city where the national language isn't English, this is the place to stay. You'll feel well looked after - because you will be well looked after. In style and comfort, with genuine human warmth and a twinkle in the eye. These folks know how to live, and it's gloriously uplifting and reassuring.

“Nice hotel”

Nice hotel. Rooms are clean and tidy. For Paris, such room size is astonishing. I love breakfast because of the staff member Anne Marie. She is truly the most perfect hotel employee I know. Nice hotel. Rooms are clean and tidy. For Paris, such room size is astonishing. I love breakfast because of the staff member Anne Marie. She is truly the most perfect hotel employee I know. There's only one employee who takes care of the hotel's breakfast but it's perfect and my kids love her. Everything she brings to her customers is done with care - a true Parisian. I also love the housekeeping guy from the Philippines for his support. The location of the hotel is excellent. There are supermarkets, bakeries, wine stores and many restaurants and cafes around. I will return to this hotel next time

This hotel was AMAZING! The rooms were beautiful and I LOVED the service here. The receptionist I met was super caring and helpful to us. I really enjoyed breakfast here it is so cozy. But my favorite part about all of this was meeting the worker called “Anne-Marie” at breakfast everyday. She is the SWEETEST person I’ve ever met and her thoughtfulness towards our family was so touching and she never fails to make my day brighter by just asking me questions that I genuinely felt cared for. Not only to me but to my whole family, she always made sure everyone had what they needed and when we left, she gave my little brother a little pack of Effeil tower-shape gummies to remember her by. This action really got to us and we will never forget our wonderful experience at the Le Walt Hotel! Definitely coming back!!!
