We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in November. When we arrived, we were greeted by the kind staff, we were able to leave our suitcases as we had arrived mid day and check in was at 2pm, we ventured around the area to look around. When we came back, they had our room ready early which was a nice touch! You do have to give a credit card for them to take details when checking in, there is no charge on this unless they deem necessary ie smoking in room, stolen items etc. The hotel staff spoke good English and we had no problems communicating with them. There is also a 5 euro per person, per night tax charge that you pay at the end. The room itself was lovely, very clean and modern, we had a top floor room. The rooms are small, this is apparently common in Paris so we weren’t worried (although bathrooms were a tight squeeze!). Our favourite was the automatic shutter blinds, very fancy! Room was equipped with kettle, tea bags etc, safe, lots of wardrobe space and toiletries. Beds very comfy. The hotel was in a great location, any direction you walked you will find supermarkets, restaurants and metros. You can walk 20 mins to Arc de triomphe (beware it is partly uphill) but so quick and easy to get there. This is the station you will need to go to if you are going to Disney as you can take the RER A from this metro station, super quick and easy to get to and navigate! Eiffel Tower was around 30 mins away. The neighbourhood around the hotel felt very safe, even when walking around at night as two young girls, we felt safe and everyone was friendly. We didnt eat at many restaurants around the hotel as we went into central however we did on our final night, “II Nuovo Italian & cosy” around 8 min walk, would recommend for the best pasta!! The hotel staff were also super helpful at arranging us a taxi to the airport, a bit pricier (65€ to CDG) but worth paying this as you know it’s guaranteed! Definitely would recommend staying here if you’re looking for something convenient, clean and in an ideal location.

We were so happy with our stay at Hotel Magellan. Initially we had booked through a group for a professional meeting, but bringing our kids along. Our reservation that was booked through a third party was not going to be adequate. However, the staff worked hard to find a solution for our family to be comfortable and stay together. To do so across a language barrier with professionalism and kindness was exemplary. Our rooms were just what we needed. Breakfast every day was lovely. Recommendations for dinner in the 17th were spot on for what a family of 5 with kids would need. We would happily stay here again!

Just back from a few days at Hotel Magellan, on a package with EasyJet. My friend and I received a very warm welcome on arrival and, although our room wasn’t ready, we were offered secure storage of our bags whilst we went off to enjoy Paris. Our twin room overlooked the street. It had a large window with a quiet, efficient external blackout blind. There was a wardrobe plenty big enough for a few nights, an easy-to-use safe, tv and kettle. The bathroom had a large rainwater shower, a hairdryer and basic toiletries. Bedroom and bathroom were both spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fairly plentiful; it included some cereals, mixed fresh fruit, yoghurts, meats and cheeses, croissants (of course), breads, bacon, beans and hard boiled eggs. Orange juice was brought to the table, as was our choice of tea or coffee. What more would you need? Check-out day was straightforward and easy. We would certainly use this hotel if we returned to Paris. 15 minutes walk to Arc de Triomphe and about 50 minutes walk to Eiffel Tower.

“Great hotel!”

The rooms were very clean and spacious, just what we needed for 4 days! The staff were friendly and speak multiple languages for all their guests. The hotel is close by to attractions such as the Arc de Triomphe and has good transport links. Would definitely recommend for a city break!
