When we arrived at the hotel, the neighbouring restaurants and terasses were packed and very busy in the early afternoon. Just waht you'd expect from a busy Paris intersection in the day. And with a metro stop accross the one street then a local train on the next, the was a very busy place. But at night, it quiets down and yu don't hear a sound. The location here is excellent. This is why you book here. You can get to anywhere in Paris from here in 20 minutes or less. Dod I mention the wonderful sight of sa many people jogging along the Seine (a 2 minute walk from the hotel.) The room was clean and well made up. Enough room for a bed and your open luggage but not much else. The breakfast downstairs was warm and delicious. I asked for soya mild and the chel sent soemone to get some nearbye. That took only a couple of minutes. I decent grocery store 3 minute away. From her we anaged to see the top ten most important attrations on Paris ( and Versaillle) in 3 1/2 days. The staff was remarkably kind and attentive. I think this is a perfect spot for first time Paris visitors who want to hit all the main attraction. The tower in 5-6 minutes away. The only drawback for us is that we were slightly out of the tourist restaurant area. There is probably some fine restaurants nearby. We were just exausted sightseeing. Just ask the super helpful front desk staff. I highly recomment this hotel ((:: PS. The lobby is not like the hotel pictures at the moment. They are doing some renovations (which made no noise that we heard.)
