“Thompson’s in Paris”

The hotel was in one of the best areas of Paris. Short walk or Metro ride to all the sites. We were always greeted with a friendly, “Bonjour” and staff frequently asked if we needed anything. The abundance of good restaurants nearby was also a plus!

Absolutely fantastic. I have a high bar for hotels, but this one is just an amazing germ in the center of Paris. The hotel hosts at the entry will do above and beyond to help. The rooms, although small as in any hotel in Paris, are absolutely clean and neat. It seems like someone invest time thinking how to make it work as good as possible. The location is just superb, you can walk to Eifel Tower and any other nice location. Also the restaurants around are great... what an experience. We went in four, so rented two rooms and it worked just fine! Highly recommend for family.

“Lovely hotel!”

My son and I stayed at this hotel back in April, and it was a fantastic experience. We had such a wonderful time, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The hotel is extremely well-located, making it easy to explore the area and conveniently close to metro stations. The hotel boasts a lovely indoor swimming pool, which unfortunately we couldn't use as my son was unwell, but it looked amazing. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great place to stay.

“Quality and Personable Service”

During our family stay, across multiple rooms, the employees went above and beyond any expectations to ensure our stay was fantastic. The staff, essentially all of them in fact from front desk and housekeeping to breakfast team to management, were very receptive to our needs, helped navigate answers to our questions, and made sure our stay was not left wanting. Even when we asked for something like a mini-fridge near midnight the staff carried it up. The housekeeping team quickly took to what we used and how we used the room and adjusted to include more waters, certain towels, etc. All of the staff had, at least, one of the languages spoken in our family and made it easy to speak with them, there was no language barrier. We always peppered in French as part of our usual appreciation, but by no means would a non-French speaker be left without. The personality of the staff, their stories, kindness, and ways to expand our perspective of Paris/France was a remarkable feat. Via email, the staff was very prompt and made clear their recommendations for how we could prepare for and improve our stay. One of our rooms needed barrier-free, accessibility features and felt much more hospitable than what other hotels would provide for the sort - from the roll in shower and grab bars to the space within the room to move around. The location of the hotel is tucked away on a small side street close to great food from Japanese and Vietnamese to Italian and fresh breads. It is just out of the way to not feel overwhelmed by the Champs-Élysées activity/crowds, but a moment's walk away from all of the amenities of the boulevard. Car services can access the hotel with ease. All over it was well worth the price and that comes largely down to the quality of the employees.
