Just spent 3 nights here in a standard double room. We were able to check in at 1.15pm which was a bonus, the welcome we got at reception was excellent too - really friendly and helpful. Our room (number 10) on the second floor was very clean with new bathroom fittings and a comfy bed. The room is compact but there was room for our 2 suitcases and hand luggage. There's a separate built-in wardrobe with a free room safe (large enough for our ipad too). Housekeeping done daily to a very high standard. The room had air conditioning but we didn't need this - we were able to open our window instead. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but the hotel does have a breakfast option. There's a boulangerie just across the street, and there's also several restaurants/cafes/bars nearby. Metro stop Reuilly-Diderot was a 5 minute walk away, very handy for line 1 which we used several times as it has convenient stops for the main sites/areas. We also found it convenient for our return home as we used line 1 to get to Chatelet-les-halles, where we were able to connect to the RER B that took us to Charles de Gaulle airport. Overall a great little hotel.

Room was immaculate - small (what Paris hotel room isn’t?!) and good value for money. Hotel is located in a pleasant and safe area with a very traditional Parisian feel and lots of options for meals and transport. A special mention for Richard at reception - he was very kind and helpful during our stay. Unfortunately I left my purse behind in the hotel room after checkout- Richard left a couple of messages for me to let me know and as I couldn’t return to collect it, he very kindly and promptly posted it to my home in Australia. It arrived safely this week! The peace of mind knowing it was in safe hands for the rest of our travels made a real difference to us and many thanks to the hotel for the extra help. We would love to come back some day! :-)

“The AC was Devine. A real French Neighborhood. 12 District”

Location was perfect 1 block from Rheulley -Diderot metro stop . Just steps at that stop . 10 min walk from Gare De Lyon station if extending your trip as we did south to Aix, Marseille , Nîmes and Montpellier then back to Paris. Just steps at that stop . 10 min walk from Gare De Lyon station if extending your trip as we did south to Aix, Marseille , Nîmes and Montpellier then back to Paris. The room is Parisian small, comfy bead, TV , small table and chair. nice balcony to sit on with table to feel the neighborhood. Individual self controlled AC that gets chilled ( a pleasant surprise) it was a hot Olympic week. The bathroom was quirky , could hardly turn around in the shower and the toilet paper sits behind on a shelf. Excellent house cleaning , clean towels , bring your own washcloth , gel , conditioner , and shampoo dispenser’s in shower. There is a long spiral staircase. The lift for luggage and 2 people was always available. I took the lift. Very nice reception . Helpful . Quiet side street with a self serve Laundromat 3 doors down. An excellent chocolate shop on street. A L’idl and several boulangeries in area and a walking park 1 block away like the High-line in NYC. Overall, a good choice - I can recommend.
