“This hotel saved the day!!!”
Initially we had a bit of a nightmare upon arriving at the hotel after Hotels.com cocked our reservation up and there were no available rooms at Corona Rodier! Mo, that works on reception was super helpful to our situation and helped us deal with Hotels.com, tried to phone a few other local hotels… more
Initially we had a bit of a nightmare upon arriving at the hotel after Hotels.com cocked our reservation up and there were no available rooms at Corona Rodier! Mo, that works on reception was super helpful to our situation and helped us deal with Hotels.com, tried to phone a few other local hotels to see if they had availability etc. In the end, he worked some sort of magic and we ended up with a room on the top floor (potentially a staff/emergency room??), it wasn't what we expected and was pretty basic but it was clean and kept nice each day which is what counts for how long we were in the room! Mo offered us the top floor room for the first night and said that we could move to our original room for the remaining few nights - however, we were perfectly fine with the emergency room given so stayed in that one :-) We would like to thank Mo and the team that helped us get settled for that night as the thought of being homeless in Paris with a child in tow was very concerning! I would definitely recommend this hotel due to the following: Clean Tidy Well Maintained Friendly Staff Nice Location

Ideal hotel for a short holiday in Paris. Metros, shops, restaurants & bars very walkable distance. Hotel rooms were decent size & cleaned daily. Beds were comfortable, air con was good & very little noise from outside streets. Staff very friendly & main receptionist was helpful with directions to Eifel Tower, Louvre & Stád de France. Overall, value for money, great location for short stay in Paris

“Perfect stay”

After reading some reviews we were unsure if we wanted to keep the booking, but checking in was great with a thorough explanation of hotel location, nearby underground stations and ways to sightseeing spots. Good size family room, quite modern including the bathroom. One thing that really annoyed us was a rather rude man on the morning of 8th April. He demanded keys were left at reception eventhough this was not mentioned on check in or any other 4 days we'd already were there. Luckily this was the only poor customer service experience as all other staff were pleasant. Whilst the room was tidied and towels provided on a daily basis, the little things such as surfaces not wiped and dirty cutlery /crockery /glassware left behind was annoying. If you are a light sleeper two pubs right outside can be a nuisance, but otherwise the hotel is a good budget option located with easy reach to main sights and good variety of restaurants nearby.
