Clean, comfortable, very friendly and accommodating staff. They were so kind and we were lucky to get our rooms early after a long flight. We walked everywhere, and if too far to walk, several metro stops are very nearby. Perfect neighborhood for my family of three teen and young adult boys to stay in with all the cafes, markets and restaurants, and booking two twin rooms allowed us to spread out. Some street noise obviously as it’s a big city, and some noise from the hall but even over the New Year holiday, it was much quieter at night than I imagined it would be. Thank you to all the welcoming staff for a lovely holiday stay.

Kind of a long weekend anniversary of our first trip to Paris 18 years ago. Then we stayed practically next door at the Moderne which (I think) is now the Wyld. While similar, Claude Bernard seemed brighter and spiffier than our long ago visit. We had a very reasonable (pre-paid) rate which included a very decent daily breakfast. Room 54 (I think is called a Twin) we anticipated a tiny space. In fact, we were in the front of the building and the spotless room was wide enough to have 2 full / wide windows which opened onto an actual (albeit small) balcony - Certainly generous for a Paris hotel. Staff (as others have mentioned) were great - We arrived VERY early and they made an extraordinary effort (Thanks Omar) to get our room ready waaay early. The location is sooo convenient to many of the sites and public transport. Nice bistros within steps of the building.

Was close walking to the Catherdal of Notre Dame..hop on hop off bus..lots of stalls selling the tickets..such a great way to get around..beautiful old area. Plenty of cafes and bistros for meals plus other shops..bakeries..souvenir shops everywhere...with the hop on hop off bus you had ear phones supplied to listen to the interests around the route it took..we did all the big tours by the bus..

We stayed here with extended family. A reunion of sorts in France even though we are all from New Zealand! We were very happy with the customer service. The rooms were comfy and using the lift was a fun experience. Breakfast was basic but the bread was super fresh and delicious with cream cheese. The area is great to explore and within easy walking distance to the metro. Would definitely return.
