My daughter (18yrs) and I returned yesterday from a 7 night stay, whilst enjoying Olympic events. The hotel is located perfectly for exploring Paris - easy access to metro and gare du nord station (with direct links to the airport). It is in a quiet street just a 5 - 7 min walk to the buzz of the town with plenty of shops and restuarants. It is a small hotel, and the rooms are small. We had a twin room, the twin beds pushed together, and a small bed-side table either side. The shower room was a translucent cube installed into the corner of the room with a decent size shower, sink and toilet in - small, but functional. The hotel staff were, by far, the best bit of the hotel stay - the female receptionist on duty when we arrived was welcoming and was friendly, bubbly and helpful all week. The staff in the kitchen at breakfast were very hard working, a small team, obviously busy, but nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast room is small, and the small team were pushed to accomodate guests at busy times - trying to clear and clean tables for new guests arriving for breakfast, replenish food items and refill drinks machine, but they obviously cared about the guests, and never showed the pressure they were obviously under. The hotel was perfect for our needs - a bolt hole for the olympics, the room small but clean, comfortable and even had a fridge.

“Parisian Palace”

The room was very cozy, and I absolutely loved the Parisian architecture, however the toilet not having a door was a slight issue. Also we had the unfortunate bad luck of a power cut, this was however not the staffs fault and they were absolutely amazing. I would absolutely stay here again!

“Not wheelchair friendly in bathroom”

Great hotel but the wheelchair accessible bathroom is not safe for a disabled guest. They need a much more secure seat in the shower as well with grab bars. Great hotel but the wheelchair accessible bathroom is not safe for a disabled guest. They need a much more secure seat in the shower as well with grab bars. The first night I didn’t take a shower as it was so scary to transfer. Almost impossible if you are a power wheelchair user. And there is no safety rail. If you are a walker and use wheelchair some and have trunk support and need minimal assistance maybe could work. That’s a big maybe.

Close to amenities and walking distance to most places. The hotel is pleasant enough. The lift is small, the reception staff are very helpful. However the room is small, if I had brought a cat I wouldn’t be able to swing it… The bathroom is more like a converted cupboard, with wonky door that won’t shut. It was ok for a single person, but if you were staying with someone you may find it a tad embarrassing as you conduct your ablutions, with the frosted glass door slowly opening. So you may need to hold the door closed. That said the rain shower is nice. The room is cleaned to a high standard. The rack for your clothes is small and adequate for one person. I didn’t have breakfast and was amazed when reception wanted 3 euros for a tea.
