We don’t really stay in 2* hotels but Paris during the weekend we were going was far too expensive for anywhere else especially as we were going to be outside of the room for 75% of our day. We just wanted to be central and would walk everywhere. It has to be said the hotel is no 5* but doesn’t claim to be. Whilst they did not reply to my prearrival request of a cot, when we got there, they did source one for us and the reception staff were always very helpful. The room was perfectly adequate for a city stay and I’d have no hesitation coming back here when in Paris. No tea facilities in the room but I understand that’s quite the norm in Paris. Perfectly reasonable for the location and price paid.

The best in terms of location but you need to manage your expectations because it is a 2 star hotel - simple and adequate with a small ref but no coffee or tea making kettle. Has an elevator but really narrow corridors. I love the location of this hotel because you see the Arc de Triomphe a few steps from the hotel and can walk down Champs Elysee less than 5mins away. It is within a block of the Charles de Gaulle-Etoile Metro stop and RER train to Disneyland and La Vallee outlet mall and the bus from the airport. There is no free breakfast but there is a continental buffet for 10Euros. There are also tons of restaurants around the hotel and a Monoprix store. Only one person at the front desk but always friendly and helpful. I gave low marks for cleanliness because we noticed cigarette ashes on the carpet near the small ref which I brought to the attention of the front desk even though the hotel is non-smoking. I would stay here again if the price is right.

“A nice accommodation with perfect location in Paris”

After a week seearching for a conveniently located hotel in Paris, we finally booked this hotel. I love the street paved with old stones, so quiet and safe to walk at late night. The room itself is quite small, but it's Paris, very clean. We can enjoy fresh air every day with a big window. We arrived the hotel before noon, after a long-haul flight, despite of not being tired but so hungry to see Paris. Their staff was so nice to prepare a room and let us check in early. The biggest plus of this hotel is its perfect location. I read it in TripAdvisor and found the way to the hotel easily. 5min-walking to get to Arc de Triomphe, Champs -Elysse boulevard, a small supermarket where you can buy some water and fruit (get out of the hotel, turn right, go straight for 200m, you will see that supermarket on your left, open until mid-night based on my own experience). For those who may concern: from CDG airport, take Rer B train line to Challet les Hales, from there change to RER-A LINE (heading to La Defence) to Etoile station. Get off the subway, you take exit 4 - Ave de Wagram and turn left (you will see Arc de Triomphe on your right), go straight ahead about 3min until you see McDonald, turn left to Troyon street, keep going for 1min, you will see the hotel.
