“Great Apartment Style Hotel with Eiffel Tower Room View.”

I loved this hotel! The apartment style room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and perfect for my 2 night stay. I booked the Eiffel Tower balcony room and it was amazing. You can even see it from the bed! Metro next door was convenient. You can hear the trains at times but it didn’t bother me. All cities make noise in my opinion. My only regret is getting the €18 daily breakfast. I missed it the first day because I left the hotel before the 7 am start time. The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants, bakeries, and a monoprix right next door. You can get better food for a fraction of price. I went to Le Bouquet De Grenelle for dinner across street. I had a glass of red wine, steak and frites, small salad with baguette slices and it was only €25. Photo included Staff were very nice and friendly. Only odd thing was when I checked out I asked for taxi. I was told to walk to the taxi stand with my 2 full suitcases and backpack. I was a little thrown off at first, especially because I got dropped off right out front by one. It ended up being a quick but awkward walk. I don’t blame staff or hotel though. With my limited experience with Parisian taxis I’m guessing it’s the drivers refusing to come to the door be honest. Only mentioning it so you can be prepared when leaving. I would stay here again! I wanted an affordable hotel with Eiffel Tower view and this was absolutely perfect! The 24 hour free coffee/tea/hot cocoa in lobby was a nice touch. There is also freezer in room so I froze some butter to take home!

It was, honestly speaking, a wonderful stay we experienced at our apartment-hotel while we visited Paris from December 15, 2024 to December 18, 2024. Citadines Paris was a wonderful host to the three of us during this second Paris sojourn, hospitable in every way in responding to our needs as travellers. We will highly recommend it to fellow travellers like us, especially those who wanted to taste home-cooked foods after weeks of eating European breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. The Citadines offers a good value option for those who prioritize location and self-catering facilities. The proximity to the Eiffel Tower and the spacious apartment are definite highlights. The location, undeniably, is a major selling point. Being within easy walking distance of the Eiffel Tower is a huge plus for any tourist, and the surrounding neighborhood is charming and full of life. We loved being able to stroll to various attractions and enjoy the local atmosphere.

This review is for a six night stay. The room rate for a studio Eiffel Tower view was 350 euro per night. This review is for a six night stay. The room rate for a studio Eiffel Tower view was 350 euro per night. The level of service at the front desk was generally ok, although a little unfriendly when stressed. I requested no housekeeping as I am able to keep things clean and tidy. Our six night stay entitled us to one room clean. A member of housekeeping came on Dec 26 and I said no thank you, no housekeeping many times. After 5 minutes, he finally gave up and left. On the 27th, we returned at 3:30pm only to find a lady cleaning the room ! Fortunately she had just started on the bathroom and kitchen, I had to let her finish because the floors became very dirty from the cleaning. I observed her cleaning the kitchen and the same blue towel was used to wipe the kitchen table top, bin, floor etc! She shook the bits of food left in the kitchen sink drain onto the floor and relied on vacuuming everything up. I am not surprised as this is basic accommodation and I have seen many clean like this before which is why I like to keep the cleaners out. I recommend showering early. There seems to be limited hot water at this accommodation, over the 6 nights I found water gets cold from 6pm. At 350 euro per night, hot water is a basic expectation. Also the plumbing is old and blocks easily so be careful and not get too many hairs or soap down the drain. Towels and toilet rolls quickly run out from the self serve room on the 2nd floor but front desk staff can help. The laundry was very handy, although during our stay it was down to one washer and one dryer for all guests.
