“Clean and friendly ”
About a 15 minute walk from gare de nord (booked inclusive package with eurostar) nice enough area with canal nearby, hotel was clean and functional, not modern but not in a modern setting, nice old buildings. About a 15 minute walk from gare de nord (booked inclusive package with eurostar) nice enough area with canal nearby, hotel was clean and functional, not modern but not in a modern setting, nice old buildings. Reception was friendly and easy, luggage storage was free, do be aware of the tourist tax, 5.58 per person per night payment on arrival. Recommend big bus tour with the boat trip, taxi back from eiffel tower was 24 euros.

“A real find.”
First off the location is great for anyone coming by Eurostar - it is a short and easy walk from the Gare du Nord. First off the location is great for anyone coming by Eurostar - it is a short and easy walk from the Gare du Nord. Secondly I had booked two single rooms and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious they were - one with the added bonus of a view of the Eiffel Tower!. The bathrooms were modern and clean albeit a bit cramped. But I don't go on holiday to spend much time in the bathroom. Breakfast was great and there's plenty of excellent restaurants within a two minute walk. The location is fantastic, right next to the Canal but on a quiet street with easy transport connections. Pleasant staff.

“Good location ”
The hotel was clean. The bed was comfy. It was really quiet, especially for a Friday night. Good location, not far from the Metro and train stations. Decor a little dated but a good place to stay for a short break in Paris. I booked it through Eurostar.

“An honest review…..”

We recently stayed here on a 4 night break, please see below positives and negatives. Positives * Great location * Close to some excellent bars and restaurants * Really Close to Gare de l’Est for Metro and not too far from Gare Du Nord for Eurostar * Some prior reviews about the area being rough are true however it felt very safe day and night. In fact great atmosphere in the area during the evening especially by canal * Hotel staff really polite and helpful * Hotel room is very clean with bed service/towels etc daily Negatives * Outdated room and hotel that could do with updating. Our bed was held together at the bottom with sellotape. One room light intermittently worked * Internal noise (specific room not necessarily whole hotel) was really bad. We could everything from people singing, going to toilet, using hair dryer and moving furniture above us etc?! * Breakfast was really disappointing (especially as they are charging €12) it was just bread, two varieties of pastries, cereal, boiled eggs. cold ham, cheese, cucumber, toms, just orange juice and yoghurt. The tables are laid on self serve trays which was off and made it feel like a canteen. We absolutely loved our time in Paris and chose this hotel due to location. The negatives above did not impact our break at all. If you are looking for somewhere that’s basic and just a place to sleep this fine, if not then look at different options. *
