I'm typically a corporate hotel stayer, and decided to venture out of my comfort zone a bit and stay at a smaller hotel. The rooms themselves could use some updating/deep cleaning. It was overall pretty clean. The location was the highlight of this hotel though. It is near multiple cafes (however, most don't open until after 8, some even 9) which is difficult for an early riser. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. It was a bit of a trek, but we also walked to the Louvre, Notre-Dame, the Arc de Triomphe all from this location. I'd stay here again for the convenient location alone.

“Perfect walking distance for transport and attractions”

My mother and I stayed here for three nights and were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The female receptionist on duty when we arrived spoke excellent English and was extremely helpful in helping us plan our way to Disneyland during a train strike; we wish we knew her name so we could thank her for how amazing she was. Our room was on the second floor and the window opened out onto the street, but noise wasn't generally a concern; if any, I noticed more noise coming from other guests slamming doors and talking in the corridor than from outside, though this was only really bad for one night. We were super relieved to find a lift at this hotel, given that our suitcases had put on a few kilos prior to arrival. The bathroom was generously sized, though it was annoying having no door on the shower as the powerful water pressure from the shower head meant the whole bathroom got soaked, but this wasn't a huge problem for us. The hotel is perfect walking distance to the nearby Dupleix train station and bus stops, McDonalds, Subway, a couple of local supermarkets and plenty of cafes/restaurants. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Eiffel Tower from the hotel and you get to enjoy a walk through the local streets on the way.

My fiance and I stayed in this hotel for four nights during the week with the aim of exploring Paris. The hotel is in a great location; a three minute walk from a metro station, a ten minute walk to the Eiffel tower and we managed to walk to all the major sites in Paris within an hour, including Notre Dame. The room was clean and a good size, with a small television (one English channel) and an A/C unit, but no kettle or coffee making facility. The staff were very friendly and both the check in and check out processes were smooth. The local restaurants, cafes and bars are quite pricey but this seems to be the case all over the city. The room smelt a little musty when first entering but we quickly adapted, noticing it only at first each time we entered the room.
