“My new home in Paris!”

For the last 25 years I've stayed at a little three star hotel in Montparnasse. Since I'm typically heading off to Normandy, I decided to book a place closer to Gare St Lazare. The hotel is so convenient (downhill, easy walk to the station). The hotel is clean and quiet. For those bothered by strong smelling chemicals, everything about the room is perfect, including the soap and body wash, which are completely without scent. I booked a single room, which for one night was totally fine. I do wish they would add a coat hook on the wall (the wardrobe is not tall enough for longer items) and a luggage rack to put under the window. But all in all, this was a comfortable, quiet, serviceable room. Most importantly, the staff are really outstanding. I arrived with a small injury and they went out of their way to help, including bringing ice to my room. They were also very helpful providing insights on the best line to take to Notre Dame (so I would have a little walk and amazing view) and recommending an excellent Bistro that was only a four minute walk for a weary traveler. Love everything about this place.

I couldn’t have imagined a better stay… The amenity although quite simple in the rooms was definitely worthwhile. The location is great next to restaurants and bakeries as well as a 10 minute walk from the Roissy Bus or the Gare Lazare. Great walking distance to monuments, hour walk by the Seine to the Eiffel Tower or hour walk to Notre Dame. The service was the friendliest, super helpful and let us leave our bags for a few hours after checking out. The hygiene and cleanliness was an absolutely pleasant surprise, bathroom was spotless, comfy bed, and the tea and coffee at your disposable was also an undoubtably great addition. We really enjoyed our stay in room 111 and thank the hotel with our whole hearts :) Definitely made for a very pleasant stay in Paris for the weekend. The view from the tall window also gave for a very Parisian setting. Amazing and would definitely return.

The hotel is remarkably convenient to the best part of downtown Paris: across the quiet street bordering on the Gare Saint Lazare Train/metro/RER station and in very short walking distance of Printemps and Galleries Lafeyete. in the Opera district. The staff are most pleasant and helpful and someone is on the desk 24hrs. Our room was very clean with a surprisingly large bathroom. We were on the 5th floor served by a 3 person elevator The seating area of the lobby is relaxing if you need to take a break outside of your room. Good, to my taste, is the expansive collection of appealing art on the walls: not schlocky stuff We did not eat breakfast there so have no comment on that but I can say that we would unhesitatingly recommend it to all who are looking for a classic 3 star hotel in Paris.
