Location, Amenities, Construction quality, Design quality, Spacious outdoor seating were the very well-appointed under the luxury scale. Remodeling must have been done per the sophisticated engineering work throughout the facility. Room 303 with Balcony of street view, Bathtub & Shower were beautiful, new and worked great. Comfortable Bed, Soft Bath towels, Wi-Fi, and the polite staff. Lobby Coffee maker and Water dispenser were huge and fancy. I had the best coffee in this hotel vs. any restaurants I tried. The drinking water was always available that reduced my effort to purchase water bottles and to keep the environment cleaner. Safe and extremely clean road to Champ Elysée. Surprisingly quiet neighborhood. The surrounding non-hotel/residential buildings were well upkeep. The weather was in the average of 20℃ that a low-speed setting and extremely quiet fan at night provided a perfect sleep at night. This hotel experience made my 6 night-trip sparkling just like the Eiffel Tower blinks. I fortunately stayed before the peak season, second week of May 2024 with Hotel.com that the room King bed/Sleep two rate included additional 15% discount and refundable. I booked it 6 weeks before the trip. Now that I am writing the review, the same room type price for June 2024 goes up nearly double and sold out.

First time staying at a Sonder hotel and omg I loved it . This location was close to everything that I wanted to do . The views from my balcony were amazing in the morning . The staff were friendly. My only regret is only staying two days in Paris . I’ll definitely be back and will be staying here … more

“Great location🎉!!! But a so-so room🙁”

The all-important first impression of 'Atala by Sonder' was excellent. The heavy glass-and-wrought-iron front doors magically swing open as soon as you touch the handle. Slick! The all-important first impression of 'Atala by Sonder' was excellent. The heavy glass-and-wrought-iron front doors magically swing open as soon as you touch the handle. Slick! The main lobby is very stylish: all polished marble, chic lighting, and some elegant Apple-themed art by a local artisan. There's a large and very comfortable breakfast room off the main lobby, with a decent bkfst buffet available (extra cost). If the weather's nice, you can eat on an outside patio in the courtyard. However, it looks like the Sonder's reno budget ran out before they updated the room we were assigned. It looked nothing like the photos on their website. The furniture was tired and rundown, with various chips and stains on some of the pieces. Long overdue for replacement. The in-room safe was the tiniest I've ever seen - it wouldn't hold an iPad, much less a laptop. However, the bathroom was bright and clean. Our room had both a tub and a shower stall (with a deluxe rainshower fixture and hand shower). While the room was a disappointment, the location is superb, just a block off the Champs-Élyseés. There's a Metro stop (Line 1, George V station) right at the corner in front of the Apple Store, so it's easy to get to all the sights and sites in Paris. The next time we visit Paris, I'd definitely consider the Atala based on the location. But before dragging luggage up to the assigned room, I'd first check it out to be sure it lives up to what's advertised on the website. Breakfast tip - every morning we ate at the Washington Poste, a small café/bar that's a half-block away on Rue Washington. They have excellent croissants, espresso, juice, eggs and the like.
