Our executive suite on the 7th floor was large, well furnished, clean and in good condition, and was flooded by natural light through many large windows on three sides. The kitchen had plenty of counter space and cabinet storage, but the lack of oven was rather inconvenient - a multifunction microwave grill was provided but we never figured out how to make use of it - no instructions were provided, and scant info was available online. I presume that Europeans know all about these things, but we (Canadians) had never seen one before. However, we made do with the stove top and made many wonderful meals from local ingredients obtained from the mid sized Auchan less than 10 minutes walk away. The proximity to the enormous and truly wonderful Tete d'or park (practically next door), downtown (25 minute walk to city hall), and the old town just a bit farther, made for an outstanding visit. We made good use of the washing machine on the third floor - adequate, but it would have been better to have one in the room. The hotel was quiet, secure, and comfortable, with a very nice lounge and restaurant with garden / patio.

“6 weeks of wonderful accommodations...merci.”

We stayed for 6 weeks in a fantastic one-bedroom suite with great kitchen, dining room, beautiful vistas of the Boulevard Belges and fantastic closets!!! We stayed for 6 weeks in a fantastic one-bedroom suite with great kitchen, dining room, beautiful vistas of the Boulevard Belges and fantastic closets!!! We also went with our 2 small dogs who enjoyed it as well. We used Lyon as a base and it was a terrific decision...traveling to Switzerland, Chamonix, Annecy, Provence, Dijon and playing golf in the magnificent Beaujolais region. So coming home to the Warwick was always like ....coming home! Even when I had a cold for a few, I felt at home in bed at the Warwick. The reception staff was outstanding and always helpful and friendly. Karima, Matthew, Jean, Miriam, Juliette were always welcoming. Surprise, the hotel restaurant was very good and sitting out back in the garden area was so easy and comfortable. We had some breakfasts there but with a kitchen, we were at home. The area is soooo safe to walk dogs late at night. And the residential area is nothing exciting but having the famous Tete d'or park 3-4 minutes away was wonderful. Lyon is a fine city with wonderful food including Asian (!) and could be so much better if they beautified it more. More flowers, more pressure cleaning, more aethetics. But Warwick, we loved it and the apartment we wish we could take with us. And most importantly, Monique in housekeeping was a French jewel!

The hotel offers good services, it is clean and welcoming. Suitable for families. Great location. I would maybe just suggest to increase the quality of pillows.

This apartment hotel is in a great location and very near to the beautiful Tete d'Or park which we enjoyed walking in every day! Unfortunately, the shower room had no window coverings and our room was very close to an apartment building next door. It created a lack of privacy when showering and there were no bathrobes to cover up with. Also, while the living room was bright and large, we used the pullout couch for our son's bed and there was no other comfortable place to sit when we wanted to relax after being on our feet all day. The breakfast room is bright and patio lovely. The food election was fantastic! Great quality, fresh made food, coffee and squeezed orange juice. Our only suggestion for the breakfast room would be to accommodate international travelers with hours till 11:00 AM. We had difficulty arriving before 10:00 a.m. due to a 9 hour time difference and were rushed to get our food and finish quickly or missed the window for breakfast all together. I believe these should be easy fixes for the hotel to make.
