Really lovely hotel. The rooms are newly renovated… not big, but comfortable and well appointed with everything I needed. The pride, hospitality, and personal care provided by the owners and the staff of the Au Patio Morand was wonderful! We were excited, tired, and in need of a simple one night stay when we arrived at this hotel for the World Cup championship in Lyon. There was an issue with my credit card and the staff could not have been more patient with me. They continually were available to provide assistance and the room was clean and perfect for our needs. Bigger and pricier establishments could learn much from the professionalism and high level of care provided at the Au Patio Morand.

We just spent a night in the hotel, found the staff friendly and helpful. We got upgraded to a superior room with a view of the patio which was adequate and comfortable. Caution: there is no elevator and the staircase is narrow - but if you are in good shape, no problem ! Breakfast was very good with excellent croissants. Overall, we would stay there again.

“Excellent”
Small is beautyful. Very good hotel in Lyon center with ++ charm. I recommend this hotel for short stay in Lyon. Underground is very close to this location and the owner is extremely enthousiastic . Yes he can.
