Stayed here for one night. The public areas were nice. The room was an adequate size for one person. The bed was comfortable. There was a small desk and a wooden chair plus a kettle. There was a small bathroom with a bath and shower. We ate at the restaurant which was quite nice - there was a buffet and you could choose different combinations. The service was very good. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices.

Friendly staff, a couple of them can speak some English. I only stayed for dinner, waiter was friendly, menu in French - wasn't a problem , ordered draft beer and ' fish & chips with tartar sauce ' - wasn't of course the same as back home in the UK , wasn't too bad. Friendly staff, a couple of them can speak some English. I only stayed for dinner, waiter was friendly, menu in French - wasn't a problem , ordered draft beer and ' fish & chips with tartar sauce ' - wasn't of course the same as back home in the UK , wasn't too bad. Got a second draft beer while watching French football on the large flat screen in the restaurant. They offer a good choice of menus and the prices are reasonable.

“Great for one night.!”
This hotel suited our needs perfectly. We were looking for somewhere to eat and sleep, close to the motorway on the long journey home and this ticked those boxes. This hotel suited our needs perfectly. We were looking for somewhere to eat and sleep, close to the motorway on the long journey home and this ticked those boxes. Restaurant was very good with plenty of choice for vegetarians and the room was spotless. I was relieved we didn't have to go into Lyon for food and drink because it wasn't close. Big thumbs up to the sole guy serving in this very busy restaurant who was an absolute model of efficiency and couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. My French isn't great and he switched to English immediately when I struggled to explain something. Didn't get his name but top marks to him!!!! Breakfast also excellent. This is the 2nd time I have stayed in a Campanile in France and they are so much better than IBIS Budget, in my view. Car park was very full and we got the last space...
