It is located near many shops, restaurants, and historic sites (Roman Theaters and museum, Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourviere, and Cathedrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste). What a gem. This is a historic building that was a language college that was recently refurbished and beautifully appointed. Friendly staff that took the time to explain everything. What a gem. This is a historic building that was a language college that was recently refurbished and beautifully appointed. Friendly staff that took the time to explain everything. The rooms are so so roomy and this hotel is in the middle of everything. You can access both sides of the river and there is a Train station within 5 min walk from the hotel. The breakfast was amazing - no buffet. It is served to you and there is a hot selection plus croissants and breads as well as hams. I ordered scrambled eggs and the food just kept coming - well worth it

“Price/ Performance is not right - 3 stars is correct not 4 star”
Rooms are small, our room was only 12 m2, with no outside window/ vieuw. Just a vieuw on the stairs of the emergency exit. No refrigerator. The mirror in the bathroom fogs up. The door is too low for someone of approx 1.90 mtr and when you enter the room watch out as the floor is approx 15 cm l… more
Rooms are small, our room was only 12 m2, with no outside window/ vieuw. Just a vieuw on the stairs of the emergency exit. No refrigerator. The mirror in the bathroom fogs up. The door is too low for someone of approx 1.90 mtr and when you enter the room watch out as the floor is approx 15 cm lower. The breakfast is okay for a 3 star hotel but not for a 4 star hotel. The parking is an adventure, in most 4 star hotels there is valet parking. A positive note, the location is perfect, close to the Metro and the city centre is within walking distance.
