Really lovely hotel, very stylish, clean and comfortable, staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room on the top floor was small but was just a base so not a problem for us. Very nice shower room, excellent shower, and quality soap/ shower gel and body lotion provided in big bottles attached to the wall. Hotel tastefully decorated with comfy seating in quiet bar area. The pool is beautiful but quite small, and although it’s supposed to be heated it was a bit chilly. Steam room was unfortunately out of order when we were there. We didn’t book breakfast as we usually prefer to have the flexibility to eat in different places, however when we got there the breakfast was so good we decided to eat there every morning. Extensive range of breakfast foods ensured lots of variety. The area around the hotel has lots of fast food kebab-type cafes so it looked a bit run down at first; however the hotel itself is an oasis of calm. We loved staying there and would definitely recommend it.

We were a dubious about choosing this hotel in Marseille. There were some pleasant surprises, and a few things that didn't go as planned. The room we stayed in was smallish - but the bathroom was a good size, the bed comfortable, and the Aircon worked really well. Was good to have the Mini Bar fridge. we were both really looking forward to a swim in the hotel pool, and when we checked in were were told we would need to book a 'time slot' to use the pool. No problem, we booked a time slot thinking we would have the pool to ourselves. Not the case, two other couples were also using the pool at the same time - not in any way a problem, but not sure why we had to book a slot when it was clearly available to more than just one group at a time. Our room had a courtyard and a table and chairs outside - but i must say the lack of view of any kind - other than the backs of some pretty run down buildings and lots of litter was a bit crap. The hotel staff were nice, courteous and made us feel welcome. Location - was ok - we were only staying one night to break up our trip, so it was ok, however I'm not sure you would want to walk around by yourself after dark. So good - but not outstanding.

“Very good stopover”
We stayed over recently for one night, receptionist was charming & polite. My room was lovely with comfy bed and pillows, walk in shower and separate toilet. My daughter’s room had a little balcony although I didn’t. Perfect hotel for a stopover in Marseille.

Everything was lovely at this hotel except we were there when the temps were upper 90’s and the air conditioning in our duplex room couldn’t keep the upper level cool. I’m sure the regular rooms were fine as the main level of our room was nice and cool. Beds were very comfortable and room felt adequate. The shower was flush with the bathroom floor so keep a towel down to catch the excess water. Front desk staff all spoke English which was helpful as my French is not great. We didn’t make use of the amenities. Too much to do in the city!

The only thing I did not like and actually I dont understand and I travel really a lot, why this deposit of 400 EUR when you check in, for what? Please remove it from the hotel conditions.
