I recently stayed at a small and cozy hotel that offered true warmth and hospitality. The hotel is located in a peaceful area, making it an ideal spot for relaxation or business trip. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated, with every detail carefully considered. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. A special highlight was when I needed a help with checking in when I was late with my transportation after midnight. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, comfort, and a warm atmosphere!

“A Glorious Winter Wonderland”

I'm not historically a holiday person, but I have to give credit to both the Hotel de L'ill and the city of Strasbourg for invigorating my holiday spirit during my recent stay. I traveled from NYC (via a stop in Paris) to find trees lining the banks of the canals strung with beautiful Christmas decor, which led me to my hotel. Check-in was a breeze; I arrived around 6:00PM, and the concierge was very hospitable; she gave me a rundown of my room specifics, and provided me with a map showing all of the holiday market locations, drawing a route to guide me along the way. Taking the elevator to my floor (there are stairs available as well), I entered my room, which was perfect for a solo traveler. The room was well lit and comfortable, shielding me from the frigid outside temperatures. I slept quite well during my 3-night stay, and found the room equipped with the amenities I needed (towels, soap/shampoo, glasses for water). The shower was easy to figure out and use (I'm a larger person, so my only gripe might be that European shower stalls could expand, but that's a general disposition for me). Breakfast, which was included in the price of my stay, was down in an offset room by the lobby (you need to choose a 30-minute window at the concierge desk the night before; breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:30ish), and contained anything one would need for a long day of walking around the city: - Croissants and Pain Au Chocolat - Assorted Yogurts - Granola - An all-purpose automatic coffee machine (coffee and coffee drinks, hot chocolate, water for tea) - Juices and Water - Breads - Meats and Cheeses - Eggs, Sausages, Bacon, and Beans (served Hot) All of the food was delicious, and easy to access and sit down to eat. For guest's convenience, whatever room temperature items remain from breakfast, along with the coffee machine, are available until around 11:00PM. I was certainly sad to check-out, and leave this wonderfully festive city, but the process was quick and efficient. I would certainly recommend this hotel, and would love to stay here again. It's close enough to all of the holiday festivities, sights and sounds, while providing a quite respite during the day and night. Thanks again staff! One PS note - the lights in the hallways are on an energy-saving mode; just turn them on to get in and out of your floor, and they will shut off automatically after a time.

Although the location of the hotel and the breakfast provided are good, the most important thing for us is that the employees at the reception are very attentive and research every issue more willingly than us and come to a place with us in every way and produce solutions that can solve this issue with us. This is why we were really impressed. The hotel stood out for us. Especially Alex's help at the first entrance and Amir's help the next day were very valuable to us, thank you very much again.
