“Holidays in Strassbourg”
We enjoyed very nice days at Chateau De L'ile: nice and clean rooms, very friendly staff and good breakfast. We had a very nice dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the bar. “What a very good experience”
It was our first visit just some days ago in the Chateau de L'ile and we will surely stay here again if we visit the area again. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was our first visit just some days ago in the Chateau de L'ile and we will surely stay here again if we visit the area again. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The whole place seemed to be quite out of time and space in a positive way. Very quiet inmidst a park and close to the river yet close to the tramway (7 min walk) to go into the city of Strasbourg. The breakfast was very good for France, witth variety of sausages, eggs, cheese and salmon as well as youghurt, jam, sweet things, cereal. Breakfast until 10:30 a.m. was also very much appreciated;-) The rooms were tidy and clean and there was even a refrigerator. Bathroom with shower and bathtub and all amenities. Check out until 12:00 a.m. is also very nice for vacationers like us. We did not eat in the Restaurant this time but heard from other guests that it is very good. The only thing which we didn't like is that we could not open the window in the night due to many moskitos. Which was a pity as the air outside was so fresh and cooling. However they told us at check-out they will have a solution for that very soon.

“Wonderful stay”
The room was wonderful (we stayed in the chateau part of the hotel), service was excellent. The breakfast is very copious with lots of fresh options and we couldn’t have had a better stay. The restaurant is also outstanding for lunch and dinner!
