Overall, it's a good option when travelling on a budget. You have your own kitchen with everything, to prepare your own meals if you wish to do so. The only thing missing was a kitchen towel, but there was a sponge and some dishwashing liquid (which has not been the case in other aparthotels in the area). It's true that the installations and premises need some serious refurbishment and better maintenance (as everything is sort of worn out and the room is not cozy or welcoming) but if you don't spend too much time at the hotel, then it's okay, and I wasn't disturbed at all by the trains (if you don't need to open the windows then you hear it just very slightly). What I appreciated the most, besides the price and location for the hotel (for travelling to the European Parliament or walking to the Christmas market), is that staff was very helpful and friendly. They also gave me a nice welcome gift and there was free mulled wine at the reception 24/7.

we were, my wife and I, guests of the aparthotel citycentre in strasbourg, i consider our experience satisfactory for the quality/price ratio of the structure and the location. Also the services offered, the kindness and helpfulness of the staff were satisfactory! The only negative note was the cleanliness of the room and its maintenance. Overall i can consider myself sufficiently satisfied with the stay at the aforementioned structure

Stayed for two nights. About a ten minute walk from the train station. Reception staff very pleasant. They have a luggage storage and reception is staffed for a large part of the day / evening. We were able to check in prior to the 4pm stated time which was great. We were a family of four so had a one bedroom apartment with a pull out bed. Space is quite tight when the lounge is made into a bed but it works. There is a kitchenette with very basic utensils….a couple of pots, and a fry pan. There is a two burner stove top (need to press the lock symbol continuously for five seconds or longer) to unlock the locking system. There is a microwave but no oven. The room is tired and in need of repair however it is clean. There is a small fridge with a freezer. There is a washing machine and dryer on the reception level. Cost is €3.50 to use the washing machine and €2 for the dryer (which is quite large and dries clothes quickly). Can only pay for both by card. It is an easy 10 minute walk into the city centre. There is a corner store nearby as is a large shopping mall with a big supermarket. Other people we were traveling with had issues getting into their room when the door would not unlock and the kitchen tap broke so that water kept running. However the staff were very helpful and were able to fix the door and moved them to a new room as the tap issue could not be fixed. May not stay here again until there is an update to what will become more issues without some investment and time.
