The best time!!! We loved staying at the club:) Unit 39 was cozy and close to everything! Had a fab dinner at the restaurant. Even took a golf lesson with Romain—it was cool! The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend💓

Nice place to stay. Good lodges, nice and challenging golf course and a beautiful surrounding. Friendly and helpfull staff. Overall we enjoyed our stay and certainly we will be back next year (for the 9th time)!

This is a beautiful place, in a beautiful part of France. The concept is lovely and on the face of it, it is exactly what you see on the website. However, our issue was with the lodge we had. (Lodge 41) At the time of booking online, we didn't realise that all the lodges are privately owned, and you can book a specific lodge if you want to, with a lodge map which shows you limited photos of each one. It really isn't that obvious on the website and a prompt on the booking page would be an excellent idea, to ensure customers are directed to look and request specific lodges if they chose to. Please note, the main photos of the Vallee style lodge, are based on the highest quality lodge and not necessarily representative of the lodge you would get, which is misleading. If you would like a four star, quality lodge then ensure you really look at the individual photos, as they only have to meet a minimum requirement from the golf and country club, and the offerings will be different in each one. For example, in the Vallee style lodge, which we stayed in, some have the minimum requirement of a wooden table and chairs on the balcony, (like our Lodge 41) and some have the table and chairs plus lovely rattan sofas and small tables on the balcony too. It just all depends on what the individual owner wants to put there. Our lodge, apart from the air conditioning in the lounge and bedrooms (which we paid extra to have) was basic and met the minimal requirements. We were advised that the new owners hadn't had it long and were in the process of updating the lodge, and it really showed. The scruffy, dirty decor, was in need of painting, the bathrooms were old and in real need of gutting and re-fitting and the wooden stairs were badly scuffed. The whole place was very tired and to be honest, not well cleaned and maintained either. We felt that we had paid a lot of money for a low quality lodge and paid the same amount as the people in the next lodge, which had far superior features, furniture and facilities on offer. I believe that if the owners wanted to rent this lodge in its current state, through the golf and country club website, then there should have been a discounted rate against it, until it was brought up to a better standard. Aside from our huge disappointment with the lodge, I have to say, the golf was great, the pool between 6 lodges was lovely, the restaurant was nice, even though it had a very limited menu and the facilities such as the tennis, petanque area and driving range were great.
