One small downside is the fragile wallpaper is easily scratched and there are scrapes at multiple plces. You are a fair distance from the historical quarter.

“3 Nights Stay”

Great and Friendly services, nice and clean environment. Helpful Staff with all sorts of issues. Delicious breakfast, and especially meals at the restaurant. Will certainly come back!

We stayed 2 nights in the family room. Lots of room for 3 people. Clean good size bathroom. Large king size bed which was very comfortable Electric chargers on site. We stayed 2 nights in the family room. Lots of room for 3 people. Clean good size bathroom. Large king size bed which was very comfortable Electric chargers on site. The pool sauna and steam room were well kept. Children are banned after 19:00 from this area. Lovely French doors enables you to open the room up to fresh air. We had dinner and drinks on one of the nights. My fillet was over cooked asked for blu and got rare. The mashed potatoes were watery and lacked any flavour. It was replaced with another rare steak and the same watery potatoes. I gave up. One of the other meals had undercooked pasta. And they are an executive chef, so they do know what they are talking about. I would stay here again for the hotel and staff but would never eat any meal at the hotel. Especially as the bill for the meal which was 1 starter 2 mains 1 dessert and a bottle of wine was €160. I don't mind spending money on dinners but do expect quality

The hotel is in an attractive building with a pretty garden to one side. The beds are comfortable and the bedding is good quality. The staff are lovely and helpful. Those are the positives. But our overall impression was one of mediocrity for several reasons. The first bedroom we were shown made my heart sink. Tiny. Ugly: in need of a lot of cosmetic updating. A bathtub but only a handheld shower. How are people supposed to wash their hair if they need to hold the shower in one hand? Fortunately the nice receptionist offered us another room with a shower. This room was also more spacious and marginally less dingy and ugly so we were relieved. However, it overlooked the kitchen extractor fans. If you opened the window during the day or early evening, you could smell kitchen smells and hear the extractor fans. Not pleasant. The shower door leaked quite badly and the towels were stained. A kettle was provided but we could only plug it in by placing it on the floor. I could only charge my mobile next to the bed by unplugging the room telephone. We had dinner at the hotel. Not terrible but again mediocre. Dishes were not as described on the menu and generally bland and underseasoned. 27 euros for a tomato salad with burrata is a joke. More and better vegetarian options are needed. The decaf coffee was unpleasant. We did not bother to try breakfast. I would not want to stay here again.
