It was in the 10th century that the Benedictine monks settled on the estate of the Priory, to live together and create a place of worship. Through the ages, its architecture has been transformed into a Renaissance style, notably under the aegis of the Count of Aupébin in the 19th century and the Count of Castellane at the beginning of the 20th century.
