Great central location. Ideal for walking around Nantes. Near to the tram station too. Staff friendly and the welcome at reception for both check -in and departure was warm and welcoming. Great central location. Ideal for walking around Nantes. Near to the tram station too. Staff friendly and the welcome at reception for both check -in and departure was warm and welcoming. The breakfast room is well appointed as is the reception area. Breakfast choice was good and the early check-in (from 12 noon) and check-out (again 12 noon) is great. Room was clean and big enough for a city break. Comfortable bed and housekeeping every morning. Ideal for our 4 night stay.

“IBIS at downtown Nantes”
Hotel lobby is clean so is the room, Lordy is next to the breakfast area. I had a dinner salad in the sitting area. Hotel is located in downtown area after ten minutes walk you can have cafes, restaurants etc. Uber from hotel to NTE airport about 30EUR. About 30 minutes ride.

“Enjoyed our stay”
Good value stay just a short walk from the centre of Nantes. The rooms are clean but very small. We liked the addition of games in the bar area. You can hire bikes from the hotel to explore the area. There is a tram stop nearby if you need to use public transport. Would stay here again if we visite… more

“Family break”
Booked 2 rooms for a family short break. Great location, very comfortable bed, would have liked tea/coffee and a kettle in the room. Also, shower tray didn’t drain quickly so had to switch shower off intermittently. No shower gel/body/hair wash in 2nd room on day 2 and not replenished by the cleane… more
Booked 2 rooms for a family short break. Great location, very comfortable bed, would have liked tea/coffee and a kettle in the room. Also, shower tray didn’t drain quickly so had to switch shower off intermittently. No shower gel/body/hair wash in 2nd room on day 2 and not replenished by the cleaners! Asked reception to book a taxi to take us to the airport on departure day and ended up with an expensive Limo service. Cost €52 instead of €35 Overall a good location, basic room and I guess it showed the difference between Ibis and Novotel!

This hotel is mediocre at best. Though we paid in advance, on the second day they locked us out of the room and told us our credit card was declined. This hotel is mediocre at best. Though we paid in advance, on the second day they locked us out of the room and told us our credit card was declined. Three times during our four day stay the key card stopped working, for no particular reason. The bathroom was HAZARDOUS. You need to step up into the shower and there are no handrails. Try stepping in and out of a wet shower!!! It's an accident waiting to happen. Cleanliness was not so great, either - in the lobby, in particular. Front desk personnel were not particularly friendly or interested. Good points: location, right near the 3 train. Air conditioner worked. Breakfast was good. If you're not planning to spend too much time in the hotel, it's fine. Just be careful in that bathroom.
