“Comfortable and Quiet”
This is a very reasonably priced hotel across the street from the train station and after a full day of travel from Canada that a bonus. We stayed twice in one week in two different rooms. They were clean and comfortable and considering the location of the hotel- very quiet.

Well, I was looking for a hotel with air con as it was hot this past weekend. I found the Astoria. I booked the two triple rooms with had air con and was welcoming in the heat we had. Well, I was looking for a hotel with air con as it was hot this past weekend. I found the Astoria. I booked the two triple rooms with had air con and was welcoming in the heat we had. The hotel is a ten minute walk to the centre and only a three minute walk to the Jardin de plants de Nantes. Our triple rooms were clean, and good size with huge bathroom. We had coffee making facilities. But the best of it, was the two triple rooms were out in the courtyard at the back of the hotel, no corridors, no noise, just silence. Theres table and chairs, so you can sit outside having a glass of wine or sunbathing. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Even opened my bottle of wine of an evening. The beds were very comfortable, so got a great nights sleep. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. We were in room 111 and 112.

“Hotel Astoria”
The hotel is VERY clean, the family room on the terrace is spacious and comfortable. The is GREAT!!!! They are all nice and willing to help. We added Breakfast and it is good, you have to let them know a night before if you want to add it.

“Decent hotel for the price”
Clean, modern room, with all you need for a business trip. Great value for money. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. Plenty of restaurants and bars a short walk away. Breakfast is a little basic but that is to be expected
