“Great place to stay in Nantes -5 star service included !”

It was my first stay in a Campanile Hotel and I ended up here due to a double booking by conference organizer, leaving me to pick -and I did because of conference venue proximity. I generally have good experiences with 'budget chains' and I do recommend this one: Check in smooth, friendly and easy. There was an issue with the guarantee credit card and FO staff solved it with a smile ("of course we dont give your room away without calling you"). Spend also some time finding a room with large bed for me. Really sweet and nice. Room is simple, but very clean and bright. Bathroom: echoing other reviewer, yes the shower water gets out onto the floor which makes you use more towels at the end to soak it. A bit of repairs would be good and in the end save them washingefforts...just a side remark though, as otherwise bath and room were perfect. Bed comfy, hairdryer working well, nice sheets and also aircon working well with 34c outside. I had a good sleep despite the heat, internet worked very fast and had a really nice stay ! As always, nice becomes perfect when staff is good: all boys and girls working there were great, friendly and really wanting to go the extra mile. I highly praise the night FO staff member, Marion, for her 5-star courteous and friendly service. She ran across the hotel to deliver items I could have taken during the day, but did not. I really appreciate it and was humbled by her dutyness. Stay here -you will not be let down by price, service, facilities and staff ! Location is a bit out of the centre, but only a couple of minutes by bus away. Worth the ride, as I found other Nantes properties overpriced. and they have a parking lot for use !

“An OK hotel not far from City”
An OK budget hotel, not too far from the city centre. Room was clean and comfortable, parking is available, it’s a bit tight underground. Breakfast was a buffet with lots of options. Dinner there was a buffet option and freshly cooked. Would most likely stay again if working in the area

Friendly, professional staff made booking in & checking out easy. They were quick to answer our queries. Comfortable,clean room but shower room wet room arrangement left floor rather wet for some time, making it not pleasant to walk on in bare feet. Paint work at the bottom of the shower room door frame could do with refreshing. A mirror above the desk would make putting makeup on easier. Overall a pleasant overnight stay.

“Nantes, lovely city, ok hotel.”
For those in the U.K. I’d place the rooms slightly below a Premier Inn but the food slightly above. I saw a review before I went that said, budget hotel, that says it all. It does but the staff are friendly and the food ok. Location is right next to a bus stop to the city centre.
