“Comfortable stay”
Hotel was selected by Trafalgar as part of a northern France tour. Room satisfactory and was able to sleep well. There is not enough lifts so had to go down with stairs or wait a while but used lift to go up. Water is provided in the corridors where you can fill up your water bottle from the dispen… more

“Stay Here in May 2024”
We stayed here while in Amboise, very nice hotel with a great pool. It's about a fifteen minute walk to town but it's uphill on the way back. Our room was good and the staff was friendly. We stayed by the pool with drinks one afternoon...very nice!

Very nice hotel at the top of a rolling hill looking down onto the Amboise chateau, out of town a bit in the middle of a corn field. You would need vehicle. “Nice looking hotel but cheap. Staff even want 50 cents for an envelope”
Hotel is out of town, up on a hill overlooking the town but you would need a car. Safe didn't work. Had to wait a long time for restaurant service and the meal was not the best. Breakfast served up rock hard potatoes left over from dinner and the rest was cold. Again service bad as was breakfast. … more

No hot water, just tepid. Hair dryer also not working but another was provided. Room stuffy and air-conditioning off at this time of year. Why? Room was otherwise just OK.
