“No fuss, simple and efficient”

Stayed two nights here as it was in a perfect location for my job. No frills but pleasant and courteous staff. Room was clean and fully functional. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom likewise. No restaurant, but there's one a minute's walk outside called La Tribune which served a good menu. B… more

Stayed two nights here as it was in a perfect location for my job. No frills but pleasant and courteous staff. Room was clean and fully functional. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom likewise. No restaurant, but there's one a minute's walk outside called La Tribune which served a good menu. Breakfast buffet is simple but perfectly adequate. Will definitely use this place again if I return!

“Should have stayed longer”

This hotel is excellent in position as only €1.50 each way into the city...about 4-5 stops...hotel staff very friendly and helpful and great with English speaking. This hotel is excellent in position as only €1.50 each way into the city...about 4-5 stops...hotel staff very friendly and helpful and great with English speaking. A good sized room and comfortable bed so very pleasant stay. Rennes was a surprise as we had no expectations of the city.... It has old classic style buildings and lots of half timbered buildings... Lots of cafes and places to eat. We wandered around on foot for 3 hours and sat in the late afternoon sunshine and enjoyed our pleasant surroundings and the sunshine. It is a university town so lots of people about. Beautiful shops to browse also. It is a city I would recommend people go visit.

“No frills place to say. Good for business travellers”

The reason for choosing this hotel was that our JV partners have a account here and since I was visiting Rennes for business talks with them this was a perfect place as it was just 10 minute walk from this hotel to my place of business. I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights between October 23 & 24. The reason for choosing this hotel was that our JV partners have a account here and since I was visiting Rennes for business talks with them this was a perfect place as it was just 10 minute walk from this hotel to my place of business. However, it is a bit far from the city centre - you have to take a bus or taxi to get into the city area. The hotel is basically a no frills place to stay. It gets your job done. Breakfast was simple but decent. However, for dinner we had to walk to the neighbouring restaurant as there is no service within the hotel premises. I was given a room on the ground floor and though it was clean with comfortable beds and clean washroom, it could have been a little bigger. It just felt a little claustrophobic inside the room. Check in and check out was a breeze and the staff was ever helpful to arrange transport for us to the train station. Would I go back? No I wouldn't. I would choose other hotels in the city.
