Warm welcome from friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are modern and clean with comfortable beds. The air conditioning in the rooms helps to ensure a good night’s sleep even when the weather is hot. The hotel is a 5-6 minute walk from the station, and parking is available in a gated area (there are also a few locked garages available at reasonable extra cost). This is a good location for exploring the nearby mountains or visiting Geneva. It is a particularly good location for cyclists, with access to spectacular climbs and scenery not far out of town.

“Around the corner is a glowing carousel and lovely walks and bistros and charm.”
I arrived after much traveling and was tired and needed a shower. Everything was perfect. The square and environs are charming.I came from the Geneva Airport. I took a taxi both ways. Next time, I will figure out the train from the airport to Geneva and then the tram to Annemasse!

“Nice, safe and warm”
This is a good place to stay. Quiet rooms, excellent staff and are cyclist friendly with bike spots out the back. I didn't eat breakfast or use the WiFi but like I said great place to stay it's far away from the centre but if you've you're own transportation it's ok.

“Not too bad and right in the centre of town”
Not a bad little hotel. The hotel itself is not all that interesting, but at least the room was clean. The man on the front desk was helpful. Not sure if they speak English or not since I only spoke French with them. Close by you have a number of restaurants. And you can walk to everything… more
Not a bad little hotel. The hotel itself is not all that interesting, but at least the room was clean. The man on the front desk was helpful. Not sure if they speak English or not since I only spoke French with them. Close by you have a number of restaurants. And you can walk to everything within minutes. There is a cafe/bar to the left, Les Salles Gossses that gets fairly acrive on a weekend. To the right there is a burger place 99 Street Burgers open late, and during the daytime, walk down the street to the right and there is a big square, Place de l'Hotel de Ville with an old-time carousel, and several restaurants. As a stopover on the way to/from Geneva, it's a reasonable option. One negative point though it is minor: this hotel does inexplicably take a 100 euro deposit pre-authorised on credit card. This is a bit ridiculous as there is nothing in the room is worth 100 euros.

“Hotel where to stay !”
Hotel de la place has the best location in Annemasse. With a very helpful and nice employees at the front desk, you will sleep in an excellent beds. The hotel is surrounding by restaurants, bars and shops.. I strongly recommend this hotel.
