When the weather is nice (and it was real shiny and a blue sky), the view of the mountain is great ! - but you have to go out of your room to see it (as the buildings are oriented north south and the mountain barrier is south south west) ; you can also enjoy the view from the restaurant, that is elegantly decorated in moroccan style and its terrace. The breakfast is quite good and the staff is kind, efficient and very helpfull. The hotel is easy accessed by car, 10mn from city center, bus is not so distant. The bedroom is well equiped, correctly maintained and comfortable, but the construction in itself makes it that it gets old not so well; for instance the wires and tubes are hidden in some special tubes that are not so elegant, but this is a detail; the acoustic barriers are not perfect between levels, but I was lucky to have quiet neighbours upstairs. The sas at entry of room is efficient to thermal and acoustic protection, so you the noise of roads and highways in the vicinity can't be heared.

“Not very friendly welcome - average Hotel”

With four friends on 4 motorcycles stayed at the Hotel, which is a typical hotel/motel on the edge of town. (Our average age was 63!! - so not exactly hells angels but rather mature gentlemen bikers) Not a very friendly welcome from the female receptionist - indeed a ‘dour’ welcome with no smiling… more

With four friends on 4 motorcycles stayed at the Hotel, which is a typical hotel/motel on the edge of town. (Our average age was 63!! - so not exactly hells angels but rather mature gentlemen bikers) Not a very friendly welcome from the female receptionist - indeed a ‘dour’ welcome with no smiling face!! The hotel room was very spacious and clean; however having asked for a ground floor room I ended up on the first floor (no lift - and had to contend with my disability, carrying my own bags).

The receptionist was superb and most helpful and spoke English fluently. The dinner service was good although the quality of the meal was mediocre and somewhat expensive.The room desperately needed a makeover but was comfortable and warm. WiFi was available and good quality.The breakfast service was good although for 9+ euros it was incredibly poor value and the selection was poor.Overall a budget 53 euro stopover but not to the standard expected of Campanile (except the evening male receptionist). The building not the staff gave rise to a poor review.
