“Super Studio”

I recommended to stay in Residence due Solely because it's clean,quiet and well accommodate hotel,the staff is perfect and very helpful.I enjoyed a lot.You have close to the hotel a lot of restaurants,bar and supermarket.The river is near by.

“A place worth considering to stay”

1. Departed from Kuala Lumpur on Singapore Airlines to Singapore to connect our flight to Paris CDG. 2. food on board the Paris bound flight was very good. We had a choice of 2 meals. 3. Service was excellent and the cabin crew was genuinely courteous and attentive to all. 4. The latest HD touchscreen at 11,1 inches was really pleasantly surprising. 5. Even my wife who is not tech savvy was surfing the programs after a brief introduction by me. 6. the cabin was very bright and cheerful and we traveled in economy. 7. Arrival was 30 minutes earlier than scheduled time. CDG airport 1. Cleared CIQ quickly and the officers manning the immigration counter were polite and efficient. 2. After leaving the customs area, we headed straight for the Le Bus Direct for our connection to Orly airport 3. We chose this because it is the cheapest mode and direct without any stopovers. 4. Bought return tickets from the driver which was EUR76 for 2 persons. We were charged an extra EUR2 for service provided. 5. Bus to 1 hour 20 mins to reach Orly despite heavy traffic conditions. 6. It is better to have ample time for flight connections on different airports within the same city.. We had more than 6 hours which gave us ample time to mooch around the shops at Orly. They even had a newly opened Carrefour city where we bought some sandwiches and a bottle of water which amounted to around EUR10. 7. Having a meal at airport restaurants can be quite expansive - after all - it is just a meal to fill your stomach. 8. Flight from Orly to Tarbes took 1 hour 20 minutes. 9. We used the self service kiosk to check in. After punching in our reference number together with email address and family name, the machine printed our boarding passes and luggage tag which we affixed to our check in luggage. Had to drop the luggage at the luggage check in counter. Scanned both the luggage tag and boarding pass for verification and my bag happily went on its way to the aircraft. Lourdes. 1. Arrive in Lourdes at 1830 hours. Collected our bags and went straight outside to the taxi counter. 2. Taxi took 22 minutes to reach the apartment hotel and cost including luggage was EUR35 3. The receptionist - Didier was on hand to check us in and it was less than 5 minutes and we were on our way to the room. 4. I requested cookware and we were given a tray which contained a kettle, 1 frypan, 2 saucepans, 1 pot with ladles and even dishwashing liquid. Had to carry this myself. It is fine as we are used to this. 5. Room was moderate in size with a table for meals/laptop - plenty of charging points and wifi was free. 6. Moderate sized fridge beyond the table and a build in cupboard. plenty of hangers. 7. we requested 2 single beds and there was ample room to move around. 8. the mini kitchen had 2 induction cookers and a microwave. It was a fully equipped kitchen. 9. Note - you have to clean everything before you leave the premises otherwise a EUR8 will be charged 10. Bathroom - 1 sink, 1 potty, 1 heater (modern type), plenty of space and 1 full size bathtub. Shower pressure was strong. 11. Everyday they provided soap and shampoo gel. Very generous. 12. They would also remove the garbage daily. 13. Making of beds and cleaning - every 4 days. 14. All in all - I would definite stay in this place again even though it is around 1.2km to the Sanctuaries. 15. the walk along the river Gave was indeed pleasant. 16. Oh, we had to pay EUR33 for the city tax for 11 nights - cash - no receipt. So, my wife and I would like to wish all our readers a Blessed Christmas and a Grace filled New Year. We were given a studio for 5 although we were just 2 people. As such, the studio was just nice in terms of space. However, for 5 people, it would be very cramped! The room and bathroom were clean. Small cakes of soap and shampoo sachets were provided. The air-con control system wasn’t intuitive but if you follow the instructions on the paper pasted on the wall next to the control unit, then it will work well. The kitchenette was adequate for cooking our meals. Cooking utensils, an electric kettle and cleaning products were provided on request. We bought/ brought our own basic staples like oil, salt and spices. Location wise, the hotel is an 11-minute walk to the entrance of the Sanctuary, a 12-minute walk to the city centre (which has a Carrefour supermarket) and a 23-minute walk to the railway station. Optionally, you can catch the local bus from the nearby bus-stop to get to the railway station. The bus-stop is in front of the Alba hotel. The first bus from this stop is at 6.30 a.m. on weekdays. Free parking area on the road opposite the Alba hotel, too. Many restaurants, bakeries and snack bars in the vicinity. Staff weren’t very friendly, though. That was the let-down of this hotel. We had to wait for 15 minutes before someone showed up at the reception area to see to the check-in. When we asked for a lid for the pots (we were given 3 pots WITHOUT lids), we were told that there weren’t any available and that was that! No real effort to help. Overall though, if you don’t mind taking a scenic walk along the river bank to get to the Sanctuary, this aparthotel is good value for money.
