Beautiful hotel right next to the railway and bus station, which makes it very convenient for trips out (but no noise or disruption from being next to the station). We arrived in Lourdes from a very early flight from London and the hotel had good secure baggage storage and also organised an earlier check in for us (12 noon, rather than the usual 4pm) which was very kindly accepted. Our room was a supreme room and quite small, but had everything you needed with ample storage. The bed was extremely comfortable - large, a good mattress, great quality bedding. The bathroom was large with a bath and shower. Storage for clothes was great and also there was a safe to use. The small balcony had amazing views of the mountains and there were also large communal balconies so everyone could also enjoy these views. The housekeeping was exceptional - everything tidied and cleaned impeccably. The hotel is typically French and rather than feeling like a hotel chain, it felt much more like a small friendly family run hotel which I prefer. The pool area was beautiful and much appreciated in the hot weather we had. I would say the hotel is a good 20 minutes from the grotto and church and slightly uphill on the return, but it is a pleasurable and interesting walk and also the buses go into town regularly for €1 regularly. I think the location is amazing - we did several bus trips and the position of this hotel is fantastic for that and for Lourdes. Staff were very welcoming. Breakfast was a vast choice of breads, eggs, ham, cheese, cakes etc with teas, coffee and juices. Definitely one of the best hotels in Lourdes.

“Beautiful hotel at a perfect location”

The hotel is conveniently located just in front of the train station. It has a private parking, beautiful decent size pool and a top rated restaurant in the ground floor. The interiors of the hotel is beautiful. I like that our room has a balcony with the view of the pool and the Lourdes.

Generally, hotel website photos overstate the reality. Not so, here. Beautifully decorated in a somewhat art deco style, the ground floor has a very pleasing ambience. The entire hotel was well maintained and clean. We were fortunate to have a room overlooking the grounds and the Pyrenees. It rained while we were there but it must be a lovely view on a sunny day. Staff do double duty as both reception and in the restaurant. This can mean waiting a few minutes for attention at the reception but not not enough to ruin the stay. Room was very tight although nicely decorated. It was, however, very hot at night and the HVAC controls did not appear to have been activated. The TV has about 3 English stations. Our only complaint, other than lack of HVAC, was the thumping of the guests above walking in their room. The bathroom is wall to wall tiled in white marble. Beware, the Bath/shower is deep and there are no handles or grab bars to help with the big step. Took some time to work out how the shower works We had dinner in the dining room. Service was very good but food was underwhelming. Breakfast was average. Look all around the bath for instructions on how to work the shower---they are there, just not obvious.
