“Lovely stay, very close to Disneyland.”

Wonderful stay for a family of 5, used as a base for Disneyland. Clean, spacious, good value for money! Looking forward to heading back in the future. Pool area great, market with fresh bread, average breakfast but enough variety, clean well maintained grounds.

We have just come back from a week long stay at this Marriott Vacation Club and I felt I had to write a review because before I left there was so much I wanted to know. When I looked for information some of it was out dated, conflicted or wasn’t clear, so I trust this helps other people looking for hints and tips. We travelled with our three adult daughters and their families, and in total we were a family of eight adults and seven children under the age of six who stayed in four houses. We emailed ahead to request, and were subsequently allocated, four houses together close to a beautiful stream complete with swans, cygnets and a play park for the older kids, it was perfect. Any anxiety about being miles apart from each other vanished as soon as we arrived. We were all next door to each other! The site isn’t huge, it’s beautifully maintained and everywhere on site is flat and easily walkable. We requested a cot in three of the homes but it transpired that all the homes have a collapsible cot in the wardrobe. We come from the U.K and getting information about what the cot was like was hard because they are listed as ‘play yards’ but don’t worry,they are proper cots for babies. We also requested high chairs which weren’t in each house when we arrived, but as soon as we rung to ask where they were one was brought to each home within ten minutes. The only heads up re: kids/safety - there are no stair gates. The stairs are beautiful and made in solid wood, but if you have a young child who wonders at night you need to be aware. The beds were so comfy and the bed linen was all beautiful,crisp and clean. This site is beautifully maintained and even on the morning we left we observed a gardener taking an age to carefully snip a topiary bush in to a perfect shape; the attention to detail wherever you go is good. The grounds are immaculate. The Concierge and all staff we came across couldn’t have been more helpful….. On our last night the youngest in our party, a baby of 6 months, became unwell with a temperature of 40oC. The Concierge, Paula, came to my daughter’s villa and stayed until the on call doctor had rung and she translated the call for us. (Sadly the Marriott assigned on call site doctor didn’t answer his/her phone which is why they had to book a call with an online doctor. Although not their fault, I do trust Marriott will address the vanishing doctor and take appropriate action) My daughter and her husband didn’t get back from the hospital with the baby until 5am and late check outs were kindly agreed by the front desk. All the staff involved were incredibly kind. Transpired the baby had Scarlett Fever. It isn’t what you hope for on holiday but wonderful to have such positive support although sadly for my daughter the welcome at the hospital was a very different story :( The villas are cleaned EVERY day! We cannot praise the house keeping team enough for coming in to refresh towels, tidy beds and empty bins, they even hoovered a pattern on to the velour sofa cushions each day! We are sure they have to keep an eye on the villas to make sure they are not damaged, but daily cleaning was a huge bonus for us all. All the villas have a washing machine, dryer, ironing board, hair dryer etc. Even washing up liquid is provided. Just bring your own food and belongings, the rest is there. There is a great, regular shuttle bus! Book your slot (not many seats) with the Concierge the day before you need it because it gets busy. Coming home is pot luck but worse case the Ubers are great and usually are waiting at the station. DON’T book a cab from there because they quoted €25 to get two of us back to Marriott; we took an Uber for €12. It’s worth downloading the app if you don’t have it. The shuttle stops at Disney (about 10 minutes drive) and is also the stop for the mainline train station to Paris, or anywhere else in France you fancy to go. My husband and I went in to Paris, 50 minutes each way, it was super easy and a great day out. If you plan to visit any museums, Eiffel Tower etc, always book ahead. The local village, Magny-Le-Hongre, is a few minutes drive away and has great little bars, restaurants and a mediocre supermarket. If you want a big shop the Auchan Hypermarket at Val d’Europe is ideal but don’t go at the weekend because the place is rammed. It’s a massive place and is so huge it will blow your mind. The quality of the fresh food, no surprise, is superb. The on-site supermarket does have a wonderful machine that produces fresh orange juice - treat yourself! Along with a baguette and pan au chocolat (both made daily on site) it was a treat. However, other things in the on-site supermarket were pricy and the personnel on the till were pretty slow on the days we went in. Sadly they were the only staff we came across who did not appear to be so happy. Our grandchildren loved the pools; sadly it was too cold to use the outdoor one but the indoor was a hit. The older grandchildren went to kids club a couple of times which they also thoroughly enjoyed. On the last afternoon a lovely young member of staff called Rita popped up in the main reception to host a game of Pictionary for the adults and kids which was unexpected and we had great fun with an American family. As you go through main reception outside, toward the outdoor pool area, they could do with more seating areas. A couple of times we clogged up main reception for want of a place to sit together which wasn’t ideal. Overall it’s a beautiful site in a great spot in France. ALL the staff helped to make this a great stay and should be applauded for their kindness. We all hope to return for another visit in the not so distant future. Thank you all.

“Marriott Village near Disneyland Paris.”

This place was well cared for with a relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with comfy beds, washer/dryer, and plenty of hot water. This place was well cared for with a relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with comfy beds, washer/dryer, and plenty of hot water. The grounds are gorgeous with a family of swans that now account for hundreds of photos on my camera reel. There is a town center a 10 min walk away. The town market has everything from fresh pressed OJ to lunch meat to frozen French fries. A public bus stop outside the resort is a 20 minute ride to the Disneyland Paris. It was a wonderful place for us.

“Excellent base for disney, luxury houses”

Wonderful 2 bedroom house which was very clean spacious comfortable and nicely decorated. Loved having spacious rooms and 3 bathrooms. Wonderful 2 bedroom house which was very clean spacious comfortable and nicely decorated. Loved having spacious rooms and 3 bathrooms. Well-stocked kitchen (we brought our own cafetiere- they have 2 coffee machines in the kitchen). Excellent service, friendly and welcoming staff. Great pool and restaurant, decent siper Market with fresh bread. Well located for disney - 8 mins by uber and the train station for a day trip to Paris. Highly recommend for a base for disney and also as a spacious hotel for Paris - if you don't mind the train ride in (easy and comfortable).
