Grand Magic is a lovely hotel and we have used it before. French staff we encountered were very polite, very professional and very helpful but I felt some of the cleaning staff were lacking. Last time we visited we had a new box of weetabix taken from our room when the room was cleaned so this time we made sure to lock it in the safe with our valuables. Weerabix you say but yes our 3yr old is fussy with food and it's all we can get her to eat morning and night. Another cleaner was trying to untangle a vacuum cord whilst we were waiting on the lift and my 7 yr old asked me why the guy was taking so long to get the cord off and I told him that son is a bluffer, someone who pretends to do a good job but is actually doing nothing. Honestly we were waiting in an empty lift for 10 mins and the guy was hoking amd poking at the cord the whole Time pretending to.fix it... desperate. Anyway upon our arrival to our room at the end of a long corridor there was quite a lot of empty glasses, bottles and cutlery left outside the rooms. Very disappointing to say especially when there were sharp knives laying in the hall where mu 3 yr old could have picked them up. We were checked in early at 1.30pm so I tht the bottles were out due to rooms getting ready but when we returned to our room that night all the mess was still left in the hall. When walking to our room a cleaner was walking towards us holding the tip bag, he was whistling and was happy as the bag seemed full... he walked straight past all the bottles and mess. Terrible i tht. Next morning they were gone and hall was cleaned. We asked another cleaner for extra toilet roll and he smiled , nodded and said yes yes.... 2 days later we still hand not received it. So apart from my kids really enjoying the Grand Magic and the large screens in the lobby I think i will be trying the explorers Hotel for my next visit.... unless we get a good deal. To end we do like this hotel as the beds are comfortable, French staff are great, food is good and it's handy to parks so if I get a deal I'd stay here again for sure... but sort out the attitude of the cleaning staff.. some of them are letting you down Grand Magic Management

“Decent Hotel - Close To Disneyland Paris - Great Free Shuttle - Good Room - Expensive Food”

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for a Monday - Friday break during December 2024. I requested a room on a floor as high as possible, luckily we were allocated a room on the 4th floor (top floor) so that was a nice touch… Don’t forget the city tax! As stated above, we (a couple) stayed there for four nights and it cost us around €64 for the duration! ROOM - The room was spacious, it had a mini-safe, small fridge, bath/shower, hairdryer, desk and a single arm-chair and air-conditioning. All the standard amenities that we required really. Shower gels and shampoo were also provided along with some disposable cups and tea/coffee/sugar sachets (all were replenished daily). The room was cleaned thoroughly everyday, no issues with the cleanliness of the room or hotel. BIGGEST ISSUE - Noise!! The corridors are bare so echo terribly, therefore from around 6am and up until midnight you’ll hear people/children shouting and running up past the rooms (heading to the lifts). I appreciate this isn’t the hotel’s fault as some people have no common decency or any thought for others! After a long day in the park it’s nice to have a good rest, ready for the next but we were regularly awoken. POOL - Unfortunately the pool was closed for unplanned maintenance for two days, therefore we were unable to access or use these facilities during our break… FOOD - Breakfast and evening meals at the hotel was buffet style. Breakfast was included in our rate. It was a continental breakfast which had plenty of choice, the dining room tends to get very busy so get there early! Evening Meal - €78 for two people seems over over the top, we didn’t eat at the hotel for Dinner. We either ate in the park before leaving or ordered UberEars to the hotel reception. SHUTTLE BUS - The shuttle bus was a great touch. Free of charge and every 10 minutes. This did get very busy during opening and closing times of the park, therefore I would allow plenty of time if using this transport.
