Really nice hotel just a few hundred metres from the town centre - nice quiet location - very modern and spotlessly clean - good secure parking - our room was large, well equipped and very comfortable. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was very poor indeed - the starters were ok, the main courses were abyssmal - nice locally made ice cream for dessert can be recommended - dinner was not an enjoyable experience -breakfast was quite acceptable however. I can fully recommend staying at this attractive hotel, but just don't bother with eating dinner in the restaurant - there are loads of nice eateries within walking distance.

A really great stay reception staff friendly, rooms great and nice seating area for the bar. Only reason we could not give 5* was a function on the Saturday night meant restaurant was closed. I believe if you have a function you should have a separate area to house the group. Lots of other local… more

A really great stay reception staff friendly, rooms great and nice seating area for the bar. Only reason we could not give 5* was a function on the Saturday night meant restaurant was closed. I believe if you have a function you should have a separate area to house the group. Lots of other local restaurants but priority should be on providing a good service to guests staying. I would recommend though and look forward to returning

“A decent hotel, well located.”

Tuesday, Aug 6th. Arrived late at night. Room 10 on ground floor was spacious (I think it’s designed for disabled guests) with huge bathroom and walk-in shower. Tuesday, Aug 6th. Arrived late at night. Room 10 on ground floor was spacious (I think it’s designed for disabled guests) with huge bathroom and walk-in shower. Air conditioned room with a small outdoor area, handy for smokers. Bed was okay, as was pull-out bed for our son. Sound insulation from upper floors could be much improved but we were so tired from a full day’s travel it didn’t really matter much. What DID matter was the welcome we received upon arrival. It was late and we were exhausted but the gentleman greeted us very warmly and we instantly felt very bien-venue! He provided us with complimentary water and helped us find the secure car park at the rear of the hotel. We all noticed what an amazing natural positive vibe he had - so much so that it elevated our whole experience. Thank you for the great service.
