“Good choice for views and access to historic city center.”

Nice location for the city historic center. Very helpful front reception staff. Rooms look a little tired but the common areas are very up to date. The breakfast buffet is excellent and loaded with many hot and cold choices. The base rooms are quite small but there are larger choices. Nice bar on the upper floor with a view of the plaza.

“Great location”

The strength of the hotel lies in its location. The Eurostar train station, shopping, designer brands, tourist attractions, restaurants, bars and pastry shops are all within easy walking distance. The strength of the hotel lies in its location. The Eurostar train station, shopping, designer brands, tourist attractions, restaurants, bars and pastry shops are all within easy walking distance. The room was well decorated and tidy. The negatives are the unusual late check-in at 4 pm, stains in our bedsheet and duvet covers and they failing to warn us about the per person, per night city taxes during check-in.

An attempt to achieve the grandeur of past decades, but overall a worn down hotel with broken and chipped furniture, smelly toilets, lack of quality toiletries. Everything's just old, but not in the good 'historic' way. We were there on a 2 night stay and slept in two different rooms. The standard room, with carpet, was reasonable sized, but lots of noise in the evening from three restaurants opposite the hotel. The privilege room, overlooking the opera square, was spacious and very quiet, but very overpriced for what it was. Breakfast is served in the same space where cocktails are served at night. Avoid, better to just get some bread and charcuterie from the many local shops within walking distance. Oh yeah, only French tv channels, whilst quite an international public... Excellent location, but that's about it.

Hotel was good location great. But read below; We arrived to hotel at 11pm while check in we asked is the breakfast included the receptionist guy said "yes it's included" and then in the morning we had our breakfast at the restaurant. When we go to check out the receptionist ladies told us breakfast cost was 25Euro per person. OMG we shocked! for 3 people we paid 75Euros. When we asked them our names and room numbers are on their breakfast list, their answer was we write all the guests names to the list. It's little tricky. Be carefull when you book this hotel.
