I was a bit worried because of the other reviews However, our experience was great. The food in the lounge was outstanding. The staff all around was very friendly and yet professional. Great location and very good value. This is not a big luxury Hilton but I found it a very good deal. Rooms are spotless, comfy bed, big TV and good shower. Friendly and professional staff. Great location and very good value. This is not a big luxury Hilton but I found it a very good deal. Rooms are spotless, comfy bed, big TV and good shower. Friendly and professional staff. Some reviews claim the executive lounge is poor and it's true it's little more than coffee and biscuits during the day and wine, soft drinks and nuts in the evening. But if you're getting it free, you shouldn't complain especially when the room price is more like a Hilton Garden Inn. I'd stay there again.

I am just home after a one night stay at Hilton Lille. Thank you to the Reception Team for a warm Welcome and the Honors upgrade. The refurbishment of the hotel is almost complete and this was my first experience of the new Rooms - very very impressed! As others have noted, the old rooms were in dire need of updating. The rooms are now contemporary and stylish, and great bathrooms. I have a lot of work in Lille in early 2025 so look forward to re-visiting. The breakfast was previously 'average to good', but I think this has also been improved, and I would describe it now as very good (this from an Englishman who enjoys the 'hot items', rather than the continental style!) Some refurbishment work is still to be completed hence 4 rather than5 starts - the in-room telephone system was not working (this was a problem as I needed to call Reception) and while English language TV channels are listed, none of them work. Netflix users can access their own account on the inform TV. Also I would prefer the bedroom a little cooler - the AirCon is one of the quietest in a hotel that I have experienced which is very good, but when the AC is on 'winter settings' the ability to cool the room is limited - this is a Management decision on how they set the BMS (to save money on energy!) Overall, very impressed.
