“A welcome Return Visit”
I’ve had another delightful visit again this year to the Scandic. The location is most convenient- right in the downtown anda short walk to the train & bus station. + Really great breakfast! + Nice staff + Good location (next to shops and restaurants) - Hotel rooms and public areas need updating / old furniture - Bad quality pillows - Residential buildings next to the hotel (not great views from the windows)

“overpriced”
Air conditioning was too weak and it was not possible to open the window. Thus the room was hot and steamy as it was a hot summer night. The room was tiny and overpriced in relation to quality. The hotel in general is worn out and needs renovation.

“Scandic Mikkeli”
One night in Scandic Mikkeli. Hotel is quite old but pretty well maintained so don't wait any fancy decoration. But at least room was clean. Free parking is always nice. Parking lot is in top of mall so in winter time you might need to do some snow work but in summer there should be no problems. Br… more

“Worth of visiting”
Hotel is old and should be renovated but however, staff is very nice, restaurant food good (breakfast even better), rooms and areas are clean so not much to complain. I would give 3,8 stars if it would be possible. (Why on earth it have to be 200 characters?)
