The Eurohostel has many wonderful things. First of all, the breakfast food prepared by the kitchen staff is nutritious, delicious, and balanced: hot porridge, scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, cheese, ham, whole wheat bread, cucumber, lettuce, tomatoes, bean soup, berry jam., and others... At the reception area, there is a swing that swings back and forth -- this playground equipment embodies the Finnish culture that nurtures and nourishes children -- the importance of play, imagination, and exploration in childhood. The custodial staff work hard everyday to clean the washrooms, bedrooms, the hallway, the laundry area..... The reception staff are friendly and hospitable, providing helpful and instructive information as needed by the guests. There is also the sauna room for people who love sauna. The location of this youth hostel is central and accessible -- very close to the ferries that go from Helsinki to Tallinn, Estonia. It is conveniently located close to the tram that goes to downtown in 3 or 4 minutes. Helsinki is a city imbued with beautiful, serene, and halcyon vibes/qualities..... Another great thing about this hostel is that it follows high standards of environmentally sustainability principles. It uses some renewable energy and has a great setup for recycling a variety of products. It encourages people to use stairs to stay physically active, healthy and save energy at the same time. It has an elevator for people who prefer using the elevator.Finland is a beacon of hope and an inspiration for humanity and our planet Earth. A truly lovely and memorable hostel :)
