“Joensuu Scandic”
Nice hotel in the middle of Joensuu City. Free parking, for hotel guest, there are many, so probably one will get space. Good breakfast and dogs are allowed for an extra fee, but you will get a dog welcome bag. I can well recommend this hotel with nice personal too.

“Boring”
Very basic, austere and plain. Less than average breakfast. Nothing particularly bad, but it felt very 1960's, without the good bits. Parking was available, but limited to a first-come, first served basis. Good location in the city centre.

“Poor service”
Poor breakfast service. People wait coffee for 1/2 hour. No excuse, no explanation. I dont know what went wrong. The girls did work all the time, but not for the guests. No smoothie, no tomatoes, no pancake, no cake, no normal milk, no service.

The location is very good in the city center, just next to market. Walking distance from railway station is less than 10 minutes.
