Getting there is part of the experience. The Naviti is on the Coral Coast, about 75 km from the airport at Nadi. Airport transfers are by bus, mini or maxi, or a taxi. In a bus, it normally takes about 90 minutes, but on Diwali night ( a national public holiday), add another 30 minutes to that. On the other hand, the fireworks and LED lights everywhere made it spectacular. The Naviti is equally spectacular in its own way. On 30-plus manicured acres around a little bay, it's a tropical paradise. There are beachfront suites and a series of 6 x 2 & 3 story hotel clusters. Our room in the 600s was on the 3rd floor with a view over the gardens and beach front suites to the ocean. It was reasonably quiet, being a long walk from reception and thus well away from the bars and pool. The 100 block is closer to reception but equally far from the noise. There is a buffet and 3 speciality restaurants. The buffet is reasonably standard quality and variety of food, but the restaurant fare is excellent. We were on a all inclusive package and were very pleased with how easy everything was. Everything is done with a smile, and its a surprise if you are not greeted with a happy 'BULA'. A few pointers, book your snorkelling trip/ diving/ sunset cruise/ glass bottomed boat early. They are both tide & time controlled ( i.e., no cruise if its low tide, and certain activities are not available on Sunday).

My second visit to The Naviti bought me back because of the amazing staff. This time I got to share it with more of my family and my friends. The entertainment from Bless, Pama, Ben, Saki, Tagi was always a highlight. Bless - Always a smile on his face and so much energy and love. The nightly entertainment was always outstanding with so much effort put into everything Bless did . He ‘blessed’ my time at The Naviti ❤️ I am very thankful to have met him and for his time and friendship. Pama - Always willing to have a bit of fun, from bingo nights to disco requests. Everything Pama does he puts so much effort into. We greatly appreciate his time. Ben - So much fun! Ben taught us alot about Fiji from its history, to the nightly entertainment, kids games and discos, ways we can help and contribute to fijians in need and just general chat about life and experiences. We love Ben ❤️ She always gave us her time and we will always remember that. Saki - Wet weather activity of music trivia was probably one of the highlights of our holiday. Saki had everyone included, with many laughs. We had such a good time with many people of all ages included. Tagi - Bingo was hilarious! He had everyone laughing and involved. Though I wish we could have played a little longer. Maybe too much fun made the time go so quick ? Meli from the Nukunuku restaurant. He was hilarious when waiting our table most nights. Meli was kind, funny, lovable and so inclusive. He was great with our kids and we will be forever grateful for his time and service. 22 years in one job is an achievement in itself. Love you Meli 💗 Benny from reception (front desk) - easy smooth check in and a very kind man. Was very informative and advised anything we needed he would be happy to help. A few days after checking in, I went to check the daily activities and he was on the front desk and greeted me by my first name. With all the guests checking in and out, I was so impressed that he remembered my name. The rooms were nice and clean, though I think the showers could do with a decent scrub. All rooms should have a broom so we can sweep during the day from walking sand and grass in daily. Even though this was done once a day from the cleaners, it wasn't enough from us walking in multiple times a day. We ended up buying a broom at the shop so we could do this. It was annoying each night having to get sand out of the beds. Family rooms I think should have a microwave. My sister had trouble heating her daughters bottles quick enough at night with a small baby. The restaurants all provided beautiful satisfying food. We ate from the Nukunuku, The Grill, Talei, Bamboo. A bit disappointing that when we visit next that 3 of these restaurants will no longer be included for the all inclusive package. Even with a discount, a family of 5 can add up very quickly and it becomes quite expensive. 3 out of 5 people in my family can be quite picky so the Nukunuku didn't always provide, so having the other restaurants as options really helped. The mango daiquiris are so delicious I had 5 and I am usually a non drinker 😆😆 The discos were a lot of fun. I wish they went longer than 2 hours 😁 It was a little sad and a bit of a let down that in our 9 nights at the Naviti, we didn't see the Lali get used once or the nightly 6pm torch lighting. This was a highlight for us last visit in 2023. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to The Naviti and look forward to returning in 2025. The beautiful staff and their hospitality is what keeps bringing us back! Hopefully by then the full all inclusive menu is reinstated. There's now too many exclusions for it to be an all inclusive package. We booked through Faye O'Sullivan and she was absolutely fantastic. It's the second time we've booked through her and visited the Naviti. (Not associated with The Naviti) We visited the coloured Huts. Green, Orange & Blue. Just make sure if getting a massage that they are using proper oil and not cooking oil. Pink Hut for tattoos. We've had multiple tattoos done by Poli. Excellent free hand work. Very relaxed but clean.
