So this was my second trip this year on business. I travel extensively for my role. To be honest it can be a little exhausting, even in the best of cities with the best of hotels. But I think this is arguably, in my humble opinion, the best hotel I have stayed in anywhere. It is the perfect balance of all the facilities you would wish for and more along with the heritage and sympathetic design that takes you back to a different era. The rooms are excellent, regardless of whether you are facing the Nile or Old Cairo city. They are generous in size and the bathroom is a room to be witnessed. In fact I took full use of the huge bath and the double sinks will benefit couples. The lighting and artwork are not to be dismissed. Nothing is chintzy or fake. It is the opposite of Dubai and its plastic fantastic over the top attempts at luxury that frankly leave you wanting the real thing. This is very much that authentic experience. Customer service is second to none. They cannot do enough for you and it is not just a job for the staff, they love looking after people. The food is second to none. It is the best breakfast I have had anywhere in nearly 30 years of business travel. The range and quality with the several restaurants means you are spoilt for choice. Finally, the Spa is worth a visit if you get the chance. I was there on business so only experienced it briefly, but can imagine leisure seekers will indulge in pure luxury.

I stayed with the family back at the Four Seasons Nile Plaza. I had stayed here before. And have also stayed at the Four Seasons First Residence. Service throughout the hotel is efficient. concierge staff arranged cars. the hotel has some halloween for children. rooms are older style and well maintained good pool area. In particular Sameh El Shafey of the Four Seasons Airport Office was very efficient and friendly and helpul. I had left my laptop at the airport. And he was instrumental to assist me in getting it back. Knew his way around the airport and took his time to assist me. He did a superb job.

The Bar, Bullona and restaurant "8" made our evening celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary so amazingly beautiful! All staff went above and beyond in makingus feel welcome and special .. and i have to say a huge thank-you to all :) The Bar - staff and manager were attentive, made us welcome and too the trouble to talk to us. Bullona - although empty on the night, again the staff were attentive and surpised us with dessert and flares! .. a really nice vibe :) .. the Dj even played our choice of song! "8" - what can i truly say? .. the waiting staff were absolutely amazing. created a romantic dessert table setting away from the main restaurant. the main food we ate was spectacular. portions were a plenty - in fact we ordered two main dishes and there were left overs!! Zitouni - had the buffet lunch - it was amazing! .. great value, fresh, wonderful variety of egyptian foods to temp thos taste buds! the hotel is grand and beautiful. spacious, clean, and from what i observes - the staff take pride in their working environment.

“Dated Property”

Spent 4 nights here as 2 nights pre/post a Uniworld Nile cruise. The property definitely did not feel like a Four Seasons property - felt more like a standard convention Marriott/Hilton property. Rooms were old and dated, carpets and furniture need to be replaced. Lines for elevators and crowds … more

Spent 4 nights here as 2 nights pre/post a Uniworld Nile cruise. The property definitely did not feel like a Four Seasons property - felt more like a standard convention Marriott/Hilton property. Rooms were old and dated, carpets and furniture need to be replaced. Lines for elevators and crowds everywhere - security lines to get into the hotel can be long. We had a VIP guest during our stay and it made everything a nightmare. The breakfast/buffet area felt so dated! Positives were the incredible staff (Staff was everywhere!!) and comfortable beds and bathroom.
